This was Rihanna's first major hit right? And it is awesome, what a great way to start your run as a pop icon, a dancehall/R&B song with much needed groove, and amazing vocals. Too bad it only peaked at #2, I wonder what kept it away from the #1 slot?
EDIT: I just noticed that no one has this at #1, and this song failed to peak at #1 as well, it's so ironic.

sorry, other than a few certain songs, that week seemed horrible... Lots of songs I don't like. Maybe a mid 2003 one would be better? Idk. IMO honestly 2003 was the weakest year of 2000s, still lots of great songs but other years had better and 03 had more songs that I didn't like as well.

What about a summer 2004 one? It had a variety of genres there. Believe there was switchfoot for rock, I think few other rock songs too, some country, some r&b, rap and urban for sure, and pop for sure as well. Summer 2004 was crowded and it has some of my favorite songs of all time.

That seems like a good week except for the fact that I get to watch some of my favorite country songs ever ("Live Like You Were Dying" and "I Go Back") killed off early
