- Written by Jane Wiedlin, Terry Hall - Produced by John Shanks Our Lips Are Sealed was released as a single for A Cinderella Story soundtrack, the film in which Hilary starred with Chad Micheal Murray and Jennifer Coolidge that hit theaters July 16, 2004. It marked Hilary's first duet with her sister Haylie, as well as her first proper cover of a classic pop song. It was originally recorded by The Go Go's in 1981. Hilary and Haylie filmed a music video which was popular on TRL. The song was not a huge hit, yet succeeded in giving fans Hilary music in between Metamorphosis and Hilary Duff. On Radio Disney, it reached Number 1 on July 25, 2004, interrupting what would have been a 14-week streak at #1 for JoJo with Leave (Get Out). It was later included on Most Wanted (2005). Any Other Day was the opening track to the soundtrack for What Goes Up, the 2009 film starring Hilary Duff, Steve Coogan, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby, and Molly Shannon. The movie had generally negative reviews but gave fans some of the last new Hilary music heard until the release of Breathe In. Breathe Out. five years later. I haven't been sad about anything revealed yet. I loved half of my list and the other half I literally couldn't care less about, so even though I really like Hilary Duff when she's on... there's a lot of mediocre stuff in her catalog too.

25 - I Can't Wait This is only my #30 because of how childish it comes off now. It's cute, but doesn't hold a candle to what her discography would later become. 24 - The Math I am a little shocked this wasn't higher, but then again, I'm not too surprised. 75% of the vocals don't even sound like Hilary, they sound like the background vocalists being too loud. Then there's the fact that this so blatantly sounds like a leftover from Let Go. 23 - Jericho As I already posted, I'm upset about this. This is such a great song, and I have no idea what it's doing so damn low. Also, the fact that "Somebody's Watching Over Me" beat it honestly hurts. 22 - Little Voice Cute song, not surprised at its placement. I wish it would have placed at least a few spots higher, though. 21 - Our Lips Are Sealed This made it this high? Honestly surprised it found some love. It's a nice cover, but lacks quite a bit of heart to me. This seems to be the case with most of Hilary and Haylie's collabs. The one I really can get behind is "Same Old Christmas," which is utterly adorable. 20 - Any Other Day YAY, this escaped bottom ten, even if just barely! I've always loved this one and thought it was a cool new sound for Hilary. I want an entire album of songs like this, to be honest. I knew it would be fairly polarizing, though. 19 - Supergirl Alright, those that put this bottom ten, explain yourselves. This song is golden. Never liked Supergirl. It was the weakest of the Most Wanted tracks Excuse you, that tile belongs to "Break My Heart." 18 - Someone's Watching Over Me Hey, a perfect ranking! It's not a bad song at all, I just have to be in the mood to listen to it. Leo ✔ is doing poorly so far. 17 - Tattoo Fair ranking. Honestly, I didn't even realize this was in my bottom ten, haha! I still like it quite a bit despite ranking it so low. The acousticy Ed Sheeran stuff works for Hilary, but I'm glad BIBO went in a more dance direction. It suits her better. Though, I'd rather her have went the acoustic pop with slight country influence route she had started with "All About You." That song is one of my favorites from her and she was poised to kind of fill that void that was missing when Taylor went full on pop. (AAY actually does sound quite a bit like WANEGBT.)

- Written by Dead Executives, Hilary Duff - Produced by Dead Executives Beat of My Heart was released December 11, 2005 as the second single from her first compilation album Most Wanted. Hilary contributed to the writing on new songs recorded for this album that included most of her big hits (somehow I Can't Wait was excluded). - Written by Dean Pitchford, Matthew Wilder What Dreams Are Made Of was a song that Lizzie McGuire sings in The Lizzie McGuire Movie with her look-alike Isabella (both played by Hilary). She also performed a ballad version with actor Yani Gellman. The song was a big Radio Disney hit, yet Why Not and Dig It from Holes blocked it from reaching any higher than #3. It's a weak vocal from Hilary, which is a symptom of a lot of her early material. She's never been the best singer, but she at least grew into her voice by the time 'Dignity' came around.
