Move over Mariah, Kelly, Bing, Wham!, and all other comprehensible Holiday Classics. Time to celebrate the Holidays as God intended; f**ked up, incomprehensibly yelling, and covering our faces in shame!

You KNOW this bitch is going to be screaming "Noel" at our asses.
NoEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL amidst crashing drums and synths, with jingle bells.
Kind of here for it.

lol I'm glad the first comments in here are all about her high ass cracking howls. I didn't want to come off as a hater, but I don't associate Xmas with her particular singing style.

I am really excited to hear. From what I gathered in an article, they were all going to be original songs ("...will feature a collection of original holiday songs written by Sia and longtime collaborator Greg Kurstin..."). If she is doing covers of the classics, too, I hope she does O' Holy Night. I have been obsessed with Christina Grimmie's cover of it for years, and the song itself remains one of my favourite Christmas song song of all time (which is saying a lot as I love Christmas music)

I would really really like some tea on the behind the scenes of this label switch. I know she's said she has another album in the can already. Was RCA keeping her from releasing as quickly as she wanted? Will she lose her Vevo subscribers? How is Atlantic killing it with these poaches lately?
Most importantly, will they be able to convert these gets into successful campaigns. Ed and Bruno basically promote themselves, so this will be interesting to see.

I'm completely Atheist, but if her voice cracks on songs on this album like it does on songs like Alive.....I'M IN!!!!!!!!!

For some reason, I can stretch my vocal cords best with Christmas music than anything else. If I can (pretend to) do it, Sia will SIALAY it for real! Can't wait to sing along to her modern day classics! I'd love an O Holy Night meets Alive song.

She has done nothing exceptional musically since Chandelier, she should have taken a long break, not this, not excited at all.

Not a massive fan of Christmas music, but this should sell well for her. Get that money.

I am dying at these track names and hope this is as fun of a mess it looks like it could be.
Snowman and Snowflake being back to back Puppies Are Forever (the first animal activism Christmas song. Rudolph who?) "Underneath the" used twice.
Slay me 1000 Forms of Festivity.

Wow I can't wait for "Puppies Are Forever" to cement its place as the ultimate contribution to the Christmas canon. Mariah who??

I'm perched for this because I really can't imagine a Sia Christmas album. It's gonna be either amazing or terrible, no in between.
I'm even more intrigued now with these song titles.
Santa's Coming for Us This sounds like a damn threat! Sia about to drop a Krampus level Christmas tune!
Candy Cane Lane It's right next to Santa Claus Lane.
Snowflake Please let this be a stab at the derogatory remark for liberals.
Ho Ho Ho These Heaux who?!
Puppies are Forever This is going to be either incredibly adorable or some Sarah McLachlan level sadness.
Sunshine Her "In Summer" is coming! Olaf who?

I almost thought the first single is called "Satan's Coming for Us."

The fact that her conception of God is a "queer surfing Santa" brings new meaning to the title track (and this project as a whole).

That album cover is also very off brand.
What on earth is this going to be? Lol

Everything about this screams hot mess, which makes me think there's a real opportunity here for this to be an actual delight. If she can balance all the normal music things--strong melodies, slick production, trademark vocals--with something that is both seasonally bright but brilliantly ironic, this whole loopy project could really work.
The margin for error of something like that actually working is pretty small, though.

She is one of the very few current artists I would trust with a full-on bonkers Christmas aesthetic. I was kind of hoping for some throwback mumble Jazzy Sia, but I'll take this explosion of tacky that is pretty on-brand for her too.
