While I like this song it does not grab me as much as some of his other songs do which is why I ranked it as low as I did. Beautiful song though honestly.
"Young Love" remains the only song that is not on one of his albums in any capacity to remain. How is that one gonna fare?

I love this song, and every time I listen to it I'm reminded how much I like it. Shows how much I like his music for this to be 21 for me. There are a couple songs I would rather see lower than this one honestly

Dammit, I love this one. Honestly one of the more underrated country singles of the past few years IMO. Not surprised it's gone this early though.

Anyone around to follow along with this tonight? Haven't had much participation which is kinda making me feel like I'll avoid doing artist themed rankdowns going forward.
Regardless I'm gonna post Songs 25 through 21 tonight. Tomorrow night I will do 20-16 and then won't be able to post until Sunday. I could possibly do 15-11 on Friday but not sure that day is kinda busy for me.

I feel like people watch but have hardly anything to comment about and not a lot of people participated in this as well. Plus most of the guys who participated in this, as far as from what I can tell, do not really comment too much usually and just watch. I do agree that they should comment more so more convo and fun happens, but obviously they don't have to if they have nothing to say.

whew, almost lost a Top 10 there! i figured Somethin' 'Bout A Truck wouldn't make the Top 20 but I didn't know it would have quite that variance!
I love Burn the Whole World Down... i think his best of the bonus tracks, and better than a few of the album cuts on Wild Ones

Absolutely love What I Do. As a bonus track feel maybe it was overlooked, but I love it. Total jam with such relatable lyrics.
Also a really catchy chorus. Think it could've been a sleeper radio hit if given a chance

Not shocked to see SBAT gone. It's divisive on Pulse. Still love it though

Love Plead the Fifth. Don't think it's a radio hit due to the production, but would be in my top 15 all time Kip if I had to rank again. I am LOVING the Slowheart album

Just Another Girl is nothing to sneeze at lyrically, but gotta love that classic rock feel to it.
Hearts Desire one of his many songs that have that Springsteen feel to them. You can tell a lot of effort and thought were put into those lyrics

Late to the party, but I'm here now!!!!!! I'm sad "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" couldn't at least make the top 20 Yes, Cody Wants Out..., I do really like that one! I am not typically a fan of songs that rely on all the stereotypical country cliches, but this one manages to do it in a way that really works for me. I just love the rollout of the lyrics, how it mentions all these country themes individually in the verses, but then in the chorus it throws them all together. I found it to be really creative. Much moreso than a song like "Small Town Boy", "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)", "That's My Kind of Night", etc. that just rely on those themes for the sake of relying on those themes.

oh my god, you guys... Fly Again is awesome. I love the chill, laid back vibe it has. And What Ya Got On Tonight is my jam... I love everything about it. Not a lyrical masterpiece by any means but it just makes me wanna rock out.
I am also LOVING the Slowheart album. Plead the Fifth and Bittersweet Company are awesome, but I am really digging Sunburn and Try Again right now.

Ugh, "Magic" lasted way too long. It's one of the only songs that I didn't like at all when I was listening for this rankdown. Looking at the other ranks though, maybe I should give it another chance.

Looking at the other ranks though, maybe I should give it another chance. when I first bought Wild Ones, there were definitely a few songs (Magic included) that had to grow on me... but now I don't think there's a single one I wouldn't enjoy listening to.
