They didn't even put her on the cover of the EP, they really are trying to bury it

But...wait...why is this her strongest collection of songs as a whole. Foolish should be released, but yeah, this is strong. This is also the best she has sounded on record, I believe. Good job, M-Train!

She sounds like Celine on "After You". INCREDIBLE and clear vocal.

IβM SO HAPPY WITH THIS EP! Itβs great, filled with personality, feels authentic, and is clearly artistic and sonic growth.
- All The Ways is gorgeous and catchy, with beautiful harmonies and production - Marry Me is obviously a sister to Just A Friend To You, and Meghan always shines on these simple ukulele numbers. - Iβm Down I LOVE. So underrated! The production punches and this is SO catchy. It reminds me of βAm I Wrongβ by Nico and Vinz with all the drums. - After You is a gorgeous melody and vocal with some nice depth by Meghan. - I just love Good Mornin. This is the kind of song that sets Meghan apart that the other pop girls donβt pull off like she can β upbeat, fun, sassy, breezy, catchy, and such a mood booster. - Foolish is an ear worm single.
This plus Treat Myself and Let You Be Right? This was actually a super strong body of work. It clearly just didnβt have the obvious one or two βsmashesβ to compensate for the headwinds she was facing in the current streaming environment.

"Foolish" is a bop but nothing else stood out to me. A lot of similar-sounding filler.

1. ALL THE WAYS - So this has finally grown on me after hearing the Target clip a trillion times. It's a cute track, her vocals are good, and she's not being arrogant or problematic here. Just a simple catchy tune. 2. MARRY ME - The lyrics here are cute, but this Israel Kamakawiwo'ole "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" production just doesn't work for me here. 3. I'M DOWN - Oh, this one is actually fairly solid! The lyrics are basic, but the melody is strong and the production is very nice (though, I did kind of wish for a more 80s-tastic drum pattern). The sax was a great touch. 4. AFTER YOU - Oh, wow, this is really nice. I love the melody. The message is beautiful, though the lyrics themselves are cheesy. The production is the star here, though I really feel a more anthmatic end would have really gave this the oomph and power it was needing. 5. FOOLISH - A decent track. It kind of blends in to the background. Nothing bad about it, really, just nothing exciting. 6. GOOD MORNIN' - Morning newscast/talk show fodder. Could literally be a theme from The View or Good Morning America. No thanks.
Overall, though, this was a decent collection of tracks. It's probably her most cohesive body of work to date, which is surprising since the tracks from the cancelled album this came from were all over the fucking place, lol.
Also, wow, no problematic lyrics?! Girl, look at you improving! Color me impressed.

I really like a decent amount of Meghan's new music. I Loved "Can't Dance" and really liked "Let You Be Right from her ??? era. "Foolish" is my favorite from "Love Train". It sounds like it could have been recorded in the same sessions as "Can't Dance". I love it.

Seems like they've been releasing one video per day for all her EP tracks. We should expect "All the Ways" to be released tomorrow.

Presenting Meghan Trainor's The Love Train press release to you in full, without further commentary, below.
(February 8, 2019 - Los Angeles, CA) -- Valentine's Day is around the corner, and whether you're planning on smashing bae's junk to smithereens or making out with a pint of Phish Food, you need some fresh Valentine's Day bops to get you in the mood for Lβ‘VE. And MEGHAN TRAINOR has got you covered with her new EP, THE LOVE TRAIN [Epic Records.]
You know you want it. And you can freakin' get it b*tch. On all digital platforms right HERE.
Meghan's seducing your ears this V-Day, and you know she knows a thing or two about romance. Unless your phone's been broken for a hot minute, you know that Meghan just got married to the ginger from Spy Kids, and trust when we say, girl is feeling the love. She took a break from her busy schedule to record some fire tracks in Los Angeles alongside frequent collaborators and producers Andrew Wells [5SOS, Fall Out Boy, Jason Mraz], J KASH (Maroon 5, Charlie Puth, Kesha) and Tyler Johnson [Harry Styles, CAM].
We know you want to hear songs about all the hot newlywed sex Meghan and Daryl Sa-BAE-ra are having (did you see what we did there?). Which is why you'll love the banging' single "All The Ways." Billboard was wet for "All The Ways," calling it "another fun, danceable track to fall in love with." And would Billboard lie to you, girl?
But perhaps the piece de resistance (that's French for "Wig Snatch") is "Marry Me," a romantic acoustic guitar and ukulele-tinged Awww Fest which delivers all the feels (and then more feels). Meghan wrote the song thirty days after meeting Daryl, and it was so good that she walked down the aisle to it. We know, it's a little bit #Vomworthy, but also, am I chopping onions right now or are those tears rolling down my face? I'm not crying, you're crying.
And as always, our Grammy-Winning, Diamond Single-having QUEEN didn't just come to play -- she came to slay. She's serving vocals on the passionate, Celine Dion-esque power ballad "After You." Plus, Meghan's serving your insatiable thirst for dance-ready bops with the upbeat banger that is "Foolish." It slaps so hard you'll be stanning for days. "As if all the PDA, including foot massages, butterfly kisses and piggy back rides aren't cringe worthy enough," says her brother and videographer Ryan... "I've got to film it all!"
Choo choo betch! The Love Train is leaving the station and you better get on board.
Be on the lookout for more surprises very soon as she prepares for a landmark 2019.

Wondering how her press release going viral will affect album streams? Honestly a really smart plan from her team. No one ever pays attention to those things otherwise.
Choo choo, betch!

At this point I think a collaboration with a CHR staple would be the best move going forward.

New single, tentatively titled Funk, coming soon. Knowing her, it'll be an ode to deodorant.

I think the reaction to it in that thread disagrees with that sentiment, but to each their own.
