I haven't heard anything about it, so it's probably not true. Even if it does happen, Travis Scott doesn't hold any weight on the charts, you know with his one hit. So I don't think it will do anything for the song.

Where did it say its his lead single? You think Bugatti Biebs is just gonna release a random single and be done? There's no way, single release Friday with a likely album announcement following.

So I don't think it will do anything for the song. He has a big spotify presence, so a streaming boost + strong sales increased by a remix + already great radio and it could maybe peak within the top 3.

He's listed as the first act on the track, so Bieber featuring Martin Garrix. Not the other way around, so the collab could be his lead single.

I already expect the song to peak at #3 without the remix, it's huge on sales and airplay right now. And Unforgettable is weakening fast, and Believer is getting there.

Welp if the remix isn't the death of Despacito at number one then JB's new single defiently will be. 15 weeks it is then.

So... The Justin v Abel beef continues? Is this going to be his response to Starboy? They are beefing? Guess I missed it, or I just didn't care. Speaking of The Weeknd, I'm assuming he'll be releasing something soon since he's performing at the VMA's, and he comes alive in the fall time.

There's no guarantee that even if Bieber releases a new single this Friday that it will be an instant #1. How many of Bieber's hits in the past entered in the top position? Maybe one? I'm not sure. So I don't think it's an absolute given that this one will enter in the top position.

August 26, 196701 07 Ode To Billie Joe - Bobby Gentry (1st of 4 weeks at #1)02 01 All You Need Is Love - The Beatles Newcomer Bobbie Gentry's hit country song conquered the pop charts as well, selling over three quarters of a million copies in just one week (and we are talking physical vinyl 45's; the kind you had to actually go out and purchase). The instant smash jumped from 7-1 on the Hot 100 and brought an early end to the Beatles' 1967 Summer of Love anthem, "All You Need Is Love,"'s reign at the top after only a single week. Now that's power.

"Cold Water" - again, not technically his single - debuted at #2. So, it's a very real possibility a new single by him as lead artist could debut at #1.

^You forget Sorry debuted at #2 behind Hello. Agreed there's a chance it could debut #1, but it would definitely need great sales and streaming and a decent start at radio to do so.

I'm also not sure how Swift is relevant to this conversation, unless she's also releasing a single next chart week.

Versace on the Floor finally released its music video! I hope it helps since airplay is dropping now. I'm hoping it reaches top 20 at least!

Debut singles, What Do You Mean debuted at 1, sorry debuted at 2 behind the biggest debut in literal years, Love Yourself released with the album and debuted in the top 5 iirc. Cold Water debuted at 2 and was on track for number one but Closer happened. And I'm the one and Despcaoto both hit number one this year alone. So there's that....
