Love "Celebrity", but overplay definitely wore it out quite a bit for me. I pretty much never go out of my way to listen to it anymore. No doubt that factored against it here. Yeah it feels like if this one wasn't so burnt out on people it may have made the top 50 or 40.

I'm predicting "Holes In The Floor Of Heaven" will be next.

"Holes In The Floor Of Heaven" is absolutely beautiful, especially lyrically. But unfortunately it has not aged very well for me. Listening to it for this rankdown I was very disappointed, because it did not even come close to matching the way I remembered it in my head from my childhood I'm not sure what's different about it, but this is one of those rare instances where nostalgia ruined a song for me!

Oh lol, I totally forgot about this song being in. I am glad to see it leaving now. Tbh I have always been annoyed by this one. It's one of those songs where the melody is just SO simple that it is hard for me to listen to at the airplay levels that it has been played at as both a hit and a recurrent. It's like the same reason you wouldn't want to hear a nursery rhyme on repeat. Now the OTHER "God is great" song can last until the top 10 please

The remaining top 60! Any guesses what'll miss the top 50?

Murder on the Music Row and Celebrity are both on point observations. Never heard anyone talked about Holes In The Floor Of Heaven in my area. It's a tear jerker but the production feels somewhat dated, probably won't worth many listens. People Are Crazy has a cool story. I also like Billy's vocal in this phase (good baritone) rather than in recent years (approaching Shay/Gary)

I hate to say it, but I think Pam Tillis will be one of the ones to miss the top 50... Also, if "Don't Laugh At Me" could hurry up and leave that would be great. That's gotta be one of my lowest remaining ranks. "Automatic" is one that I would think should be about ready to leave, based on how people talk about it. But the last time I underestimated it it made it to #2 in the 2014 Rankdown... I could also see "Blue" leaving soon. It's kind of a different song, so it's bound to have some tankers. Maybe Trace Adkins will leave soon? "You're Gonna Miss This" is amazing, but could suffer an overplay fate similar to "Celebrity". Eli Young Band is still in? I know they have some very loud haters, so "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" might be just about done too. "Stay" might possibly have enough haters to tank it out of the top 50. I would hate for that to happen, but it might. Overall though I am looking at this list and thinking "OMG how are 10 of these going to miss the top 50??!?!?!"

A side/personal note to "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" ... this song is and will forever be listened to in memoriam of my childhood best friend's mom who lost her battle with breast cancer around the time this song came out. I had to watch my own mom tell him that his mom passed away (he was in the hospital gift shop getting her something at the time). I'll always have a special connection to this song for that reason...but seriously how can anyone hate this song?!?

"Holes In The Floor of Heaven" deserved better. Not sad with any other elimination though tbh. I'm kinda hoping "Red Dirt Road", "Letter To Me", and "I Saw God Today" leaves before the Top 50 because those are the weakest songs remaining in my opinion. Not necessarily bad just meh about all three.

Me included, and I don't hate it. It's sweet & simple. As for Brad...a genuinely loopy personality if there ever was one...I find him very genuine. He's also a fan of James Burton...boy has good taste. ETA: Red Dirt Road is top five...gotta be. I use it as my son's ring tone. The song explains who he is in 3 minutes

If "Don't Laugh At Me," "Even If It Breaks Your Heart," "Springsteen," and the overrated treacly tunes from Alan Jackson could leave soon, that'd be great. As for what I'm expecting, I think "One More Day" and "All the Good Ones Are Gone" are gonna depart in the next 10. Like bboat11 though, I look at this list and have trouble imagining 10 songs leaving, because so many of them are so good, lol.

Anyway Automatic Colder Weather Drive (For Daddy Gene) Even If It Breaks Your Heart I Saw God Today In Color Jesus, Take The Wheel Letter To Me Over You Pontoon Record Year Springsteen You And Tequila You're Gonna Miss This These can go anytime, tbh. Shame at "Celebrity" going out now. I've never been much of a Paisley fan, but I thought that was funny at least. RIP "Holes in the Floor of Heaven." One of my favorite songs, period.

Ugh! Both of these are so beautiful. The first one from a written perspective and Blue from a pure vocal perspective.
Also can I just say for Leann Rimes, the way she sings "3 o clock in the morning." Perfect! One of tge best vocal moments for me of any song ever.
The only song I really want out is Pontoon, as that song is so overrated.

Also I like the Mark Wills song a lot as I've been bullied especially when I was in Elementary school so I always had a personal connection with that song.

Such a great song. Carrie Underwood is at her best when she does ballads that don't let the production get in the way. This being a prime example.

I like I Told You So a lot. I prefer Randy Travis solo version but duet is great as well. It really makes me wish that Carrie would stop killing cheating husbands in her songs and record some great ballads like this one instead.

Surprised and sad to see "I Told You So" out so early. Carrie's vocal on it is absolutely killer. I greatly prefer her rendition to the original from Randy Travis, even though his is fine enough on its own. I loved that they recorded a duet version of it together though. That was a pretty special moment.
Also bummed that "Blue" went out this low. That's definitely a classic that deserved the top half imo.
Glad to see "Don't Laugh at Me" finally leave though. Yawn.
