Omg boat always puts me on blast! 😂 I mean, I would definitely like to see how ALL her tracks rank against each other. It's 7 albums with a lot of singles taken out, I don't think it'd be more than 100 that most of us know pretty well. I like your list though! Getaway Smash must stay! 🙏

So I could literally take over reveals anytime, unless anybody else would prefer to instead. However, it looks like he hasn't even been online since before my post a week ago, so I am willing to give him a few more days and see what happens. If he comes back and resumes his rankdown, awesome! But if not, y'all can be assured that it will still be finished either way. :)

I'd be game with finishing the reveals if he doesn't. I wanna see this finished soon

Regarding LeAnn Rimes, I have a lot on my plate right now so I'm not gonna take on anything else but if this is still yet to be done after I finish a few other rankdowns I could get this one done if Kanenrá:ke doesn't come back to it

BUT I'm here to beg you to do an Untamed rankdown as well. I love what I've heard from Cam & I want to check out the album but I won't do it myself

Yes, Cam is an excellent choice!!!! Especially with a new album potentially being on the way this summer. It could be perfect timing for someone to do her albums around the time of its release.

I think we should definitely wait at least 6 months-to-a-year after release before doing any album rankdowns, jmo.

I am so down to restart LeAnn if nobody else has beaten me to it or opposes I host it.

EDIT: I see nobody beat me to it so like I said I could restart that one and have it done quickly. (Should there be a new deadline since I don't have the lists or results? Idk exactly how it works but I would assume so since I believe that's how fearlessarrow did it with the Rascal Flatts rankdown.)

EDIT: never mind any of what I've said in this post; I read too fast trying to catch up  castle beat me to the LeAnn rankdown and I don't wish to take it from him  :)

I so agree with this. Doing an RD right after release doesn't make sense as they are based on first or second listens only. By the 6-month mark, opinions are definitely established, so doing an RD then makes much more sense.

Lol that was one of the first rankdowns I ever hosted and at the justification in doing that over a singles RD was because I don't like doing those in the middle of an era when further singles might be released. At any rate, that was from 3 years and would most certainly not happen now.

Burn! On that note, though, I do agree with .indulgecountry that we should wait to do any rankdowns for albums that were released within a 6 month period. I'm really bad about listening to albums as soon as they are released anyways and it does take a while for the songs to sink in.

Also, speaking for myself I've been feeling rather bombarded by album rankdowns and I'm all for them but please keep it mind any other ongoing rankdowns that are open...there's already numerous ones for George, Reba, Sara, Faith, Luke Combs, Jake Owen, Pam Tillis, Lee Ann Womack, Miranda, Maren, and Trisha! I rarely ever feel burned out by rankdowns but last week it really hit me and I ended up just taking a week away from Pulse. Anyways, I'm glad everyone is excited about them but let's not just launch a bunch of them at the same time please!

Also if it would help anyone I could gladly extend my Jake Owen deadline. It's due in a week and I only have 7 lists   if it would help relieve stress, I could extend the deadline a ways out. Any thoughts on that?  :)

Oh I'm not suggesting that any of them need to be extended (I've already completed most of them anyways), but almost just as important for me is being able to come back around and provide some commentary about the songs/album. With such an influx of these being opened I feel like it's going to siphon off some of that from participants.

I actually only posted once last week lol...anyways, taylor is terrified I meant to come back around to the Luke Combs album but just ended up getting behind on some of the rankdowns and by that time his next one was already launched.

Would anyone be interested in Jon Pardi? His latest album hasn't hit 6 months yet, so it's not like it'd be opened anytime soon. However, since he only has three albums and an EP, I was wondering if instead of an album series we should just do one huge rankdown of everything? Billed as "Jon Pardi: The Ultimate Rankdown." Kinda like how I plan on hosting an "Ultimate Rankdown" of another artist (outside of the country genre) who shall remain nameless until said RD has officially been announced.

It's up to y'all, especially because I don't want any burnouts to happen. And besides, there's already a huge glut of RDs in that "Submitting" column.

I think I would hold off for now and wait until some of the current rankdowns get finished. I also think that the idea of ultimate rankdowns are not that enjoyable. It was what I was talking about doing with Brothers Osborne that others are not a fan of so I'm gonna do each of their albums separately. I'd do the same with Jon Pardi in the future but definitely wait until some of the current stuff finishes

speaking of Brothers Osborne I am going to open that tonight, there are 3 different rankdowns planned for that. I'm gonna open all 3 at once and have them due at the end of March and then in April will resume the Patty, Pam, and Lee Ann rankdown series (though I won't wait until then to open those, haven't finalized any dates yet so we will see)

Another vote for separate rankdowns for each album! I think having two short rankdowns over one big rankdown is psychologically less of a burden so more people might be willing to participate.

I think there's already been enough of a consensus on how to go about shorter discographies...Jon will have a huge all-at-once rankdown, but the three albums and any extras will have separate due dates. That said, I am going to wait on hosting it--this won't be coming until likely at least the summer, so as to wait a minute for some of the other happenings in the Submitting column to...well, happen, and also to prevent burnouts.

LeAnn Rimes results will continue! I have all the list from Kanenrá:ke and am gonna finish the reveals for him! Will be going out of tomorrow until next Monday so won't be able to do it until then though but look for that to continue!
