What kind of Rankdown and what would you need help with specifically? One that I’ve been thinking about is like a “good vibes” rankdown! And like SD mainly, and maybe just like things to know before doing one If you use google spreadsheets like I do type =STDEV in a certain cell then drag the cells on the ones you want the SD to count on and it should update automatically. Example, if you have peeps rankings on cells A2 to L2, and your SDs are on U2, on U2 cell type =STDEV and then drag A2 to L2. and it should automatically put the SDs on it. Hope I made sense. There's probably a better way of explaining than I did.

I’d love to do some rankdowns. I don’t know much about how to do it, but it doesn’t look that hard. Would anyone be interested in ranking the lowest (mediabase) peaking songs by Billboard’s 50 biggest pop songs artists of all time? For example: “Bitch Better Have My Money” for Rihanna, “Beating Heart” for Ellie Goulding, “Til It Happens To You” for Lady Gaga etc This is a really cool idea!!

I just finished hosting my first rankdown. It went a bit messy but things got revealed. Let me just throw you guys this idea: you know those pop Barely Missed rankdowns? What if you took that concept and applied it to songs that just missed the alternative/active/AAA top 100? Basically, you’d be ranking the extras. For example, Thru These Tears by LANY was the #100 song for the 2019 Alt RD, so the first song on the list would be Black Holes (Solid Ground) by The Blue Stones since it’s the first song to not appear on the list. The problem with this idea is that there are only around 25 songs that missed the cut. There’s a simple solution: add more extras from other years. If you want to host this, I’d be willing to help you out wherever I can. I‘ll even compile a list for you if anyone actually wants to host this. I just think it’s too big and complicated for me to calculate for 75+ songs. I’ll stick to smaller occasional personal rankdowns. I guess you can PM me if you want the song list. You probably don’t even need me for it, Daryl has lists for 2016-2019 and if I’m being honest, scrolling through old rankdowns from that same timespan gave me this idea. IMO it’s a great idea because it’s a bit of a different formula to the regular yearly rankdowns because this idea spans 3+ years of music. I think it’d make for a more varied playlist to listen to and reveal.
EDIT: I compiled the list just in case. It’s 98 songs total. 1-44 are from 2016, 45-61 are from 2017, 62-75 are from 2018, and 76-98 are from 2019. I pretty much double checked each song’s chart positions to make sure every song fit in the definition of “extra”.

I've had this on my mind for a little while, and I feel like I'm in the right headspace to be able to host rankdowns again, so...after I (finally) finish 2002, I want to do something that has been on my mind for a long time. I want to re-do the early Hot 100 RDs of the 2010s, particularly 2016, 2014, and 2011. I want to see how much the taste of Pulse has changed in the years that have passed since those rankdowns were first completed. I most want to re-do 2011, as I was really in tune with the pop charts around that time, and it would be really fun to revisit that year, but I'd argue that 2016 is the rankdown that's most in need of a re-do.
If I'm worried about the possibility of me taking too long to finish these rankdowns, like I have with 2002, I've thought about the possibility of asking for a co-host to help.

I’m going to try and do more RYM based RDs. After my female RD, I was gonna do the sites top hip hop songs. Also, for the pop fans, the sites Dance Pop charts.

I've put together a list for the Top 100 of the 2000s (now that all 10 rankdowns have finished) , similar to the 1980s and 2010s rankdowns that have already happened. There were 12 repeats in the top 10s of these rankdowns, as well as 2 (Paparazzi and Empire State of Mind) that appeared in the 2010s Top 100, so I replaced these with the 14 songs that were closest to their respective top 10s in terms of points. I have some time this summer and would definitely be interested in hosting this, but I'm posting this here in case someone with a bit more hosting experience wants to claim this list. {Spoiler}{Replacements} Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Going Down (2) P!nk - Don't Let Me Get Me (2) Enya - Only Time (6) Audioslave - Like A Stone (10) Usher f/ Ludacris & Lil Jon - Yeah! An odd one but I might do a Mr Robot soundtrack RD.
If you’re not familiar with the show, let me name tracks from episodes on the show: Grimes “Flesh Without Blood”, FKA Twigs “Two Weeks”, Cure’s “Pictures of You”, INXS “New Sensation”, Fiona Apple’s “Criminal” ETC.

Given Az Paynter 's recent post in 2019 non-us hits about the next potential instalment, I've got a list for 2014 together. The list comes to 106 songs including both songs featured on a 2013 list, and songs that appeared on a 2015 list, which was already ranked previously (hosted by Mylo13 💜 ? i lowkey forgot who hosted that one lmao). Anyway, if we are gonna rank this list, I propose we can both the 2013 and 2015 songs. The 2013 songs would be following in the lead of 2019, where I took out repeats from the year before, and the 2015 songs have already been ranked before, so I see it as a bit unfair to rank them again. However, I'm not claiming this rankdown, so anyone who hosts it has full discretion on what to do lmao Anyway, here's the list. Bolded songs appear in 2013, underlined songs appeared in 2015. {2014 Non-US Hits}Sheppard - Geronimo (#4 AUS) Justice Crew - Que Sera (#5 AUS) Timmy Trumpet f/ Savage - Freaks (#9 AUS) G.R.L - Ugly Heart (#10 AUS, #81 UK) Paloma Faith - Only Love Can Hurt Like This (#17 AUS, #37 UK) The Veronicas - You Ruin Me (#22 AUS) Joel Fletcher f/ Savage - Swing (#23 AUS) The Madden Brothers - We Are Done (#24 AUS) Klingande - Jubel (#26 AUS, #68 UK) Rudimental f/ Emeli Sande & Nas - Free (#27 AUS) ZHU - Faded (#32 AUS, #96 UK) Peking Duk f/ Nicole Millar - High (#35 AUS) Coldplay - Magic (#36 AUS, #61 UK) Avicii - Addicted To You (#41 AUS) Lilly Wood & The Prick f/ Robin Schulz - Prayer In C (Remix) (#43 AUS, #22 UK) London Grammar - Strong (#44 AUS) AJR - I’m Ready (#46 AUS) Hilltop Hoods - Cosby Sweater (#47 AUS) Redfoo - New Thang (#48 AUS) Kim Cesarion - Undressed (#52 AUS) David Guetta f/ Skylar Grey - Shot Me Down (#53 AUS, #99 UK) Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars (#54 AUS, #40 UK, #58 CAN) David Guetta & Showtek f/ Vassy - Bad (#59 AUS) Nathaniel - Live Louder (#66 AUS) The Script - Superheroes (#68 AUS, #54 UK) Illy - Tightrope (#69 AUS) Marlisa - Stand By You (#71 AUS) Calvin Harris f/ John Newman - Blame (#73 AUS, #28 UK, #81 CAN) will.i.am f/ Cody Wise - It’s My Birthday (#74 AUS, #51 UK) Jessica Mauboy - Never Be The Same (#75 AUS) Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down (#76 AUS, #36 UK) One Direction - Steal My Girl (#77 AUS, #43 UK) Ed Sheeran - I See Fire (#78 AUS, #71 UK) Calvin Harris f/ Ellie Goulding - Outside (#80 AUS, #84 UK) David Guetta f/ Sam Martin - Dangerous (#81 AUS) AronChupa - I’m An Albotraoz (#82 AUS) Sigma - Nobody To Love (#84 AUS, #17 UK) Pitbull f/ G.R.L - Wild Wild Love (#85 AUS) Cash Cash f/ Bebe Rhexa - Take Me Home (#86 AUS) Itch - Another Man (#87 AUS) Gabrielle Aplin - Please Don’t Say You Love Me (#88 AUS) Katy Perry - This Is How We Do (#89 AUS, #61 CAN) Rihanna - Jump (#90 AUS) Peking Duk f/ SAFIA - Take Me Over (#91 AUS) Gabrielle Aplin - The Power Of Love (#92 AUS) DVBBS Feat. I was still intending to run STM, I checked when James opened last year's thread and it was right about now. Expect the thread within the next 24 hours.
