It all depends on what you believe... True, but the Bible is pretty clear about everyone being created equal, which is the main message behind "Bleed The Same". The blood of Jesus brings us all together.

Not to crack into this topic but what is the main demographic of most Christian radio stations? The youth ministry members who believe in equality for all, among those believers also including the every-so-often middle Americans?
Or the "Susan" types of parents from Middle America who are "good Christians" and want some wholesome music for their children to listen to?
Half honest question, half point I'm making.
If the Christian radio stations are targeting the latter, than I wouldn't expect this song to play without some sort of backlash.

Sometimes people need to wake up to the idea that stereotyping is ignorance in ANY direction. I know plenty of Christians and plenty of soccer moms and I really don't know anyone that has any issue with the message of this song.
My family flies in the face of stereotyping in many directions, but interestingly enough, we get more grief from the "enlightened" types who embrace this song and message than anyone else.
The mindset of hating based on skin color or sexual orientation is no less ugly than hating on the basis of the way someone thinks. The issue is hate. Get the hate out. Love people. That white supremacist needs love too. Hating them, makes one not much different than them.

The main demographic of Christian Radio is totally skewed towards middle-aged females. Most younger people, myself included, who listen to christian music, hate christian radio. They leave songs in rotation way too long, the songs they play are way to motivational/ positive without any lyrical depth, and the majority of them sound like U2 or Coldplay rejects.

Wayyy too long in the rotation. Actually I agree with all your criticisms. However, I don't hate Christian radio. It could be a lot better, but I don't hate it. Air1 helps too.

Yeah, I have a lot of issues with Christian radio, but it introduced me to many amazing artists and songs.
(Here in Connecticut we didn't have any CCM radio stations until 3 years ago)
Many of the best groups don't get airplay and many of the best songs are album tracks. Every genre seems to have politics and issues unfortunately.

Yeah, Christian radio is WAY too slow. I don't actually listen to the radio ever (of any genre), so it doesn't really bother me that much because I just move on to whatever I deem as the next "single" from the album when I'm sick of the current one, but as a chart follower its super frustrating.

Reckon Mandisa will get any love from the new American Idol (like a performance spot) considering sheβs become one of the most consist hit makers in her respective genre that the show has ever produced?

I don't know that I agree with that statement. Right now Danny Gokey is consistently performing well on the charts. This genre will always be overshadowed by Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. I think the show's treatment of Colton Dixon also showed that while American Idol understood they had a large Christian fan base that they didn't particularly *like* catering to it. Making him perform Lady GaGa evidenced that I think.

It's got a video.
Now I feel obligated to chart it.

Wow, tobymac is old. This song is still a jam though. This is Mandisa's best since "Overcomer" for sure
