I hope everything is alright with anythingbutmine! He was never a very active poster, but Kenny seemed to be a favorite for him, so I know he was looking forward to this... It seems very odd he would just disappear without a warning.

Also, I am like 60% done with my list for this, so it NEEDS to happen!

I think IMO we should wait a bit before sending lists to others just in case he comes back or if anyone has contact with him elsewhere so he could give spreadsheet.

I Lost It when I heard that You & Tequila boardicided. He was so excited to do a rankdown for his favorite artist and that opportunity Don't Happen Twice! He was so Young and I could have seen him becoming a Big Star around here. He Ain't Back Yet so I say we move on and let someone else take over. He probably just needed to Live a Little and go back to Reality but I do hope that he can rejoin us on the forum Down the Road. I Will Stand up and fight for this to continue though because Kenny Chesney is one of the artists who made me Fall in Love with country music. That's Why I'm Here - to make sure we give this rankdown A Chance to succeed. All I Need to Know is WHO is taking this over because its gotta happen. Somebody tell me just What I Need To Do to make this rankdown still happen. The good news is that now if I Go Back to my list, I can go back and change some things up because I would probably rank A Lot of Thing Different than where I did the first time. All of The Good Stuff will still stay at the top of my list, but some other stuff may shift around. Some people here say Kenny is their least favorite artist, but he's Anything But Mine. I know that the Kenny haters think that Kenny would be Better as a Memory and they probably Never Wanted Nothing More than for this rankdown to disappear. Me and You have some fighting to do so Don't Blink because imma getcha. If someone doesn't Come Over here to start this rankdown then this Wild Child will be Setting the World on Fire. So let's get this thing rolling out 'Til It's Gone.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna do this; would extending the deadline to, say, the first weekend of November seem okay? My list is almost done anyways; just need to be certain of certain songs before I banish a song I would eventually like to my bottom 5.

I already have another artist rankdown ready to be launched (i.e. my ranks are already done; therefore, I'm more prepared), but I think I can postpone it to when results for this are underway, maybe once we get to the top 40. I already PM'd bboat11 about this.

JK! Make all the changes you need to, bud. Everyone can do the same; if you think you over- or under-ranked something; just do what you need to do.

Is everyone OK with the November 4-5 deadline or do y'all need more time? Likes are appreciated, but they don't really say that much to me.

One more thing: will I need to adhere to the inverse point system already established? I can try it, but I'm more likely to mess up that way.

Since I can't do anything with the OP, I'll just make some adjustments here.

I made a Spotify playlist for all the songs in this rankdown below:

The new deadline will be the end of the first weekend of next month (Nov 5 @ 11:59PM EST) and I'll start results no later than the 8th. They'll be comin' atcha rapid-fire style with very little time to guess what's next; I'll try to give hints when I can, but I'll more than likely be distracted by something at those times.

Why go so fast, one may ask? Well, I planned on launching another artist rankdown by the end of this week and close submissions for that one by the end of the year (it will be a little bigger than this one, but more nostalgic so I may not have that many participants). Instead, I'll postpone that one and launch it once the top 40 of this one is revealed.

Sorry, I haven't been on Pulse at all yet this weekend. I'd say everything looks good! I would agree that you do not need to do the inverse points system. That is a TON of pointless extra work for you. That is totally up to your discretion; don't feel like you need to do this exactly the same way you&tequila would have :-)

Alright, my list is now in and I'll probably get a bunch of tomatoes thrown at me for some of my rankings; as long as y'all don't have any outstanding anger issues (like wanting to throw stones or molotov cocktails, which are much more lethal), everything should be fine.

I also enjoy over half of the songs on here so this was really tough as I wanted to fit three songs into my #1 spot and I even like a few songs I ranked in my 30s and 40s.

Keep those lists comin' folks!

My list is submitted! My top 25 are songs that I absolutely love (especially the top 9), songs 26-35 are somewhat good but not favorites, songs 36-56 are mediocre to average at best, and then there are 4 songs that I absolutely hate, that are in my bottom 4. Three of them are duets too, lol.

Huh. I'm surprised they couldn't get George Strait to be a part of the "Shiftwork" music video. All those scantily clad women dancing around... It would have been right in line with his usual image!
