I can't say that I'm too surprised by any of the top ten. Joywave is popular with the Pulse rock crowd, Lorde is just popular, "Noise Pollution" is one of the best songs from the PTM album (though your mileage may vary on that opinion), and the rest are either Pulse favorite songs or by Pulse favorite artists. Even with Daryl participating (  ), I do think that "Amsterdam" is the favorite to win this, but it's actually not the song that I'm rooting for, per say. |

When the rankdown started, I was 100% sure "Diving Woman" would be in the bottom 10 (a six-minute long shoegaze song from a relatively obscure artist? probably the least accessible song on this list, no way it's making it past there)...and look at it just barely missing out on the top 10 by one spot! I'm amazed.
But yeah, nothing too surprising about the top 10.

Yup this one isn't surprising. Honestly, this probably would have made my bottom ten if I submitted a list. I like Kendrick and I really want to like this song, but for some reason I can't get into it as much as I want to. Element > this.
Also I'm not 100% sure what's left but FDFM seems like the most likely choice for #1. It's a good song, but it's a bit overrated imo, there are better songs of QOTSA's new album.

Our #4 is the only song in the top 5 to not have a #1 ranking. Four Top 5 rankings though and no bottom ten rankings.

Now for the top 3. Each song in the top 3 has two #1 ranks. They also have a combined four bottom ten ranks, with #3 being the only song to accumulate multiple bottom ten ranks. Three points separate #3 from #2 while #1 wins by one point.
