Though actually it does ruin your listening experience as you can not keep up even with 16 songs sonetimes I do think artist should put as many songs as they think are good Lana Del Rey is great exemple she has so many awesome unreleased songs she could just for fun release 30 songs album |

Who says you have to listen to the whole thing at once? There are albums that I’ve still yet to hear in their entirety that have come out recently. There’s so much music out there to stream. Sure, nothing requires you to listen to an entire album at once. But the general idea or point of an album is for it to be a collection of songs that fit together as one cohesive body of work (and cohesive does not mean it all has to sound similar but that the sounds should complement each other and the album's meaning(s) over the course of the collection). There's no absolute requirement that the album should be digestible in one sitting, but at the same time, making an album so unwieldy that you really can't listen to it all at once does the body of work a disservice. It dilutes the overall message or meaning of the album as one work. If you're not supposed to listen to the whole thing in one sitting, then why even put it out as an album and why not just release 27 singles? Why put out all the songs under one title? It's just a little baffling to release that many songs in one go and say they're all part of the same project. |

The only songs I enjoyed were "No Candle No Light", the "Icarus Falls Interlude", "All That", and "Insomnia." Many of the others just sound so samey and blend together. You can't tell where some of them end and another starts. The album would be a total mood on the right edibles or opium. Perhaps the album is intended to be enjoyed that way.  |

Currently a little over halfway done the album, and he really saved the best content for the album. I love “Natural” and “Common” from the first half, and I’m currently listening to “All That”, and I’m already obsessed. Love the instrumental.
I really wish he showed off his vocals more though.

I've been letting this play thru in my car. About 3/4 thru it. Some good, some are boring. I don't have the spark I had the first time I listened to "Mind of Mine." That was definitely a better album.
