Honestly, sonically, it's so impossible to tell what a next album could sound like. She doesn't have much more room to go maximalist.

I think she returns to the 1989 Taylor next route... this way people get what they want (a total pop album), but they don't get 3 albums in a row of it. She doesn't allow herself to repeat it.... and then I imagine her going backwards as more of a Red album, and then return to country when she's in her 30s.

This era is a mess. I mean we have 3 songs competing for airplay, of course things can't go well What song is "LWYMMD" competing for airplay with? A recurrent from 2016? Errr who's talking about LWYMMD? That song is dead. I'm talking about Ready For It, Gorgeous and End Game obviously. Doesn't take a scientist to figure out. They're all trying to climb the top40 charts at the same time basically

I feel like everybody's expectations for Taylor are incredibly far fetched and high because in my eyes as a somewhat casual fan at the moment she's the worlds biggest pop star so...

Ever thought Gorgeous is dead and RFI is starting to fall cause End Game was rush released? Same way Gorgeous never stood a chance cause it was rush released too? The era is a mess. In a few months 4 singles released, some albums dont even get that many...

...they pick now to buy a clue?
POP: 11 12 TAYLOR SWIFT Ready For It 8910 8940 -30 46.101
+84 Spins +183 Bullet +0.137 Audience
HOT AC: 12 12 TAYLOR SWIFT Ready For It 3298 3178 120 19.642
= Spins -21 Bullet -0.117 Audience
RHYTHMIC: 42 42 TAYLOR SWIFT Ready For It 649 651 -2 2.098
-2 Spins -7 Bullet +0.022 Audience
SPINS: 2848 Spins from #6, Demi Lovato (+311) 2693 Spins from #7, Portugal. The Man (+349) 2129 Spins from #8, Sam Smith (-52) 952 Spins from #9, Post Malone (-41) 468 Spins from #10, Logic (+311) 306 Spins from #11, Dua Lipa (+6)
There is no reason why this can't go top 10 if they just hold out a little longer. Everything below Taylor in the top 20 is either a long way off, has peaked or both. In the space of a week, with small-medium gains the spin gaps between this and Demi/PTM could easily shrink down to within a few hundred spins, putting her back in striking distance before Charlie/Selena can catch up.

Gorgeous wasn’t even an official single though. It looks like one in the UK now lol. Added to both BBC Radio 1 & 2 playlists.

On the positive this sold better than it's Top 40 radio peak shows and it isn't holding back "End Game" at all so it isn't that big of a deal that this under performed. It also lasted a little longer than some superstar underperformers do.

Yeah, they should have released the remix before the album dropped to (try and) renew interest in the song.
It's not my favourite Bloodpop remix, but it's nice.

Whom did they fire between 1989 and Reputation? They seem to have forgotten how to properly manage a pop album/era after excuting a flawless campaign for 1989. That remix is two or three weeks too late, and with RFI done on radio they need to switch fully into End Game and give it the spotlight that neither RFI nor LWYMMD got (being her only song actively promoted).
(Cool remix though).

The original is much better. The drop after "are you ready for it?" is not hard hitting enough and sounds so out of place to what her vocals lead to and what I have been used to with Ready For It. This remix is fine but very unnecessary, in terms of promo and just adding nothing to the song at all

It's a nice remix. It may be a little late but it's not the first time they released a dance remix for one of her singles. "Wildest Dreams" also had a official dance remix for it released on ITunes back in 2015. It's basically a nice little treat for us Taylor fans.
