This is so depressing.
Also, "Lil Uzi Vert" sounds like a noise that escapes during yoga.

Glad to see the bottom fall out from under "That's What I Like," that song seriously overstayed it's welcome.

One thing I just noticed was that Swish Swish was just 1 spot shy of reaching it's old peak.

I'm sad that TWIL was outlasted by Shape Of You. Sometimes the devil wins.
Great that HUMBLE and XO Tour Llif3 went up this week. Both deserved more weeks in the top 10.

Never would have XXXpected this from Tentacion, who struck me as a one hit wonder. Mostly overwhelmed by the direction that his album took, but it is undeniably an interesting addition to this year's charting song.
Really happy for Uzi as well, who I think had the better album this week by a lot.

Uzi's debuts remind me a little bit of Meek Mill's debuts.

And with "Jocelyn Flores" at #31, that makes it three rap songs in the Top 40 with suicidal themes in it. The other two are "XO Tour Llif3" and "1-800-273-8255".

I think the 2010s have been such a mess when it comes to musical trends. We once went from club dance music in the early 2010s, to indie rock, to trap, to throwbacks to the 80s and 90s, to tropical reggae, and now Latin and dark urban music has dominated much of 2017. How many upbeat catchy songs have we had this year make any sort of diversity this year, because frankly they've been so little in number and have faded away so fast I don't remember many of them. The only two I can think of is Chained To The Rhythm and Swalla, and maybe Slide, but that's it. I'm amazed at just how dark and disturbing 2017 has been, especially with the low bar set by 2016 last year. There was no way 2017 could have been worst than 2016, and yet somehow, someway it seems like that might just be the case.

I am SO happy to see "Feel It Still" in the top 20.
Sucks to see "Castle On The Hill" leave but it had a very good run.

That song is streaming like crazy, are they counting streams out? HD are predicting 250k btw HD was pretty far off in predicting sales for "LWYMMD." Yep but Ready sold around 85k in the first day and has been dominating iTunes so far. I think it'll sell pretty close to 200k
