"The Bliss" is another song that I would have put top ten in a "lesser" rankdown. Probably my favorite song off of that album.
"Crimson Day" is one of the weaker A7F songs. They're capable of better.

I'm surprised that Deafhaven song isn't out already, I thought it would be a lock for 30.

Also I'm so glad The Bliss is out this early, I thought it might go top 10 because well...it's Volbeat, despite it being an incredibly boring, derivative song that blatantly rips off one of their biggest hits.

This never had a chance either. I knew it would be polarizing among the participants, although I think it's a great song. Active would never touch these guys despite their critical acclaim for similar reasons.

Therrrre it is.
I didn't mind this one, but it was kind of a chore to sit through and I just couldn't really get into it much, no matter how hard I tried. I suppose it's a good example of a song I respect more then enjoy.

Happy my bottom 2 are out already. The Bliss was a bit boring and really weak by Volbeat's standards and I just couldn't make it through Dream House, sorry.

Identity - Instrumentation is good so I like solo instrumental parts but his singing (screaming) is awful. It completely ruin the whole song.
King for a Day - Pretty much the same as first song + I like chorus very much here.
Dream House - Again instrumentation is alright but when he starts screaming it just become unlistenable. And it's also way too long.
From the first time I listen to this songs I was chosing between Crimson Day and The Bliss for my #1. The Bliss has the kind of melody that I like very much. I like lyrics as well and he has a nice voice. But at the end me and .indulgecountry together decided to put it in second place in one of the many conversations we had about this rankdown.
Crimson Day has great melody, lyrics (even better than The Bliss), the pre-chorus (the solo instrumental part) and chorus are amzing. I was actually so impresed with this song that I went to youtube and listen to some other songs of theirs. And I was very pleasantly surprised by how many great songs they have for a group labled as heavy metal.

"The Sound of Madness" would have been my #2 I think. Surprised it's out this early.

One of my favorite Shinedown songs, but in this group of songs, it pales.

Oh, "End of Me". I've been listening to this one a lot lately, one of my favorite ADTR singles.

The Bliss would've been in my top ten if it was the normal version ''For Evigt''.

Damn, I didn't expect "Sound of Madness" to be out this early. But considering the high quality of the songs in this list I guess it's not that surprising. Either way, I still enjoy it too much to have kept it out of my top 10. "Blood and Thunder" was great too. I definitely have to go back and check out more of Mastodon's earlier albums.

all of my top 10s are taking beatings this round. Meanwhile fucking Breaking Benjamin is still here? Why?
