She's one of the few artists where I don't love her material but I'd be interested in seeing her live cause she's such a beast of a vocalist.

I'm impressed by how she was able to book James Corden and GMA...sadly she decided to perform "Queen" which has a cute concept and video but isn't going anywhere.

Yes! Christmas album sounds like a good fit for her style and I'm sure she's gonna serve vocals.

I hope she won't ruin my fave Christmas songs! She won't top Christmas In The Sand from Colbie Caillat.

Saw her in concert last week and she was absolutely amazing. Mostly just went to hear her voice as I've never really gotten into her music outside of the hits, but wow was I glad I went. She was positively hysterical too. Would definitely see her again.

Sorry I could look this up. But what was the R.O.S.E? Did she release an album that I just didn’t know about it. Is it mixtapes? What is it?

I'll be using about 4 songs from this (more than the songs from John Legend's Christmas album, surprisingly for me) but overall this record is nothing outstanding. Pretty safe/vanilla/ho-hum.

I see she’s still on Republic’s roster; will she attempt to restart her career in 2021 or nah? 🧐

I see she’s still on Republic’s roster; will she attempt to restart her career in 2021 or nah? 🧐 if "Bang Bang" didn't cut it idek what will. her last two album (ROSE and Christmas) failed to chart around the world. she also seems like she doesn't have many A-lister connections, like I don't know if Ariana would do a song with her again. so idk how they can save her career. she still has a large following in China I think? maybe that could be worth investing in. on the bright side, Domino, Price Tag and Party in the USA will probably pay her bills for the rest of her life. she's set.

I'm excited for her next album. I just feel like she needs better producers because many of her songs feel like demos to me. She has an amazing voice she utilizes well but her songs could be better.

Agreed somewhat, but there's so much more to Jessie J's story... She must have had some of the dumbest, most risk-averse suits on earth trying to guide her career. Whoever said that her second album Alive wouldn't work in the USA is a complete IDIOT. Even today, songs like Thunder, Breathe (shoulda been a single), Excuse My Rude (shoulda been a single) and Sexy Lady (shoulda been THE single, even over It's My Party) are absolute SMASHES and I believe if they ever found the right situation like a good Sync or TikTok, any of them could BLOW UP on the level of Lizzo's Truth Hurts. I've been a fan since hearing Who You Are, but Alive was just as good of a project, and it totally deserved to have a moment, especially in the states. All that said, I really do hope that the next album and era delivers for her. She's still one of the best singers in pop music today, no question.

Who You Are has some cute cuts but feels too faceless and manufactured. "Casualty of Love" is one of her best songs, though.
Alive is her best album point blank PERIOD!
