#19 was actually in the upper half of the 11-20 range a lot, about as often as it would also be in the 16-20 range. It would actually be in this range for (pretty much) the entire ranking process. That's reflected in the rankings for the song, as well: Just one top ten will be lost here (with eleven people placing this song in their top twenty), while only two bottom tens will be lost. Interestingly, though, those two bottom tens are bottom fives.

lol shouldn't have second-guessed myself, thought Bangwave or one of the pop posters might have had it in the Top 10 too. no, not top 10, but looking back now, 13 was a bit too high for this

Uprising, Madness, Resistance and Undisclosed Desires are still left. If you can read the subtext, good for you.

#18 went on a bit of a roller coaster ride, and it was actually outside of the top 20 more than it was in the top 20. In fact, it was outside of the top 20 with just a few rankings left to calculate, before the last couple of rankings helped to push it into the top 20, if only barely. With this reveal, we lose three bottom tens, while we also lose just two bottom tens.

It's time for the heavy hitters to start coming out of the woodwork with the next reveal. #17 will see the loss of five top tens, incuding a top five ranking, while we'll see two bottom tens fall to the wayside. One person, in particular, is going to be over the moon about this reveal. He's been waiting long enough...

#16 is another big one for another reason: With this, we lose the third-highest standard deviation in the entire rankdown. I did not expect this song to be as divisive as it was, especially after the early rankings...but boy, did it prove to be divisive by the end. With this reveal, we lose the most top tens so far with six, including three top fives, and we also lose four bottom tens, including a bottom five. More importantly, not one, not two, but THREE people lose their last bottom ten here. And if relations between two posters weren't strained before...they will be after this.

With this reveal, Drones becomes the first album to lose every single (unless you count Hullabaloo, which I don't, as the studio versions of "In Your World" and "Dead Star" were single-only). Congrats, Alex, Crap, and Disco, as you all lose your last bottom ten here. Also,

Hey, it's been five reveals since the last one of these, so...IT'S NON-SINGLE/ALBUM TRACK TIME!
And now, let's do one more update before we stop to allow the top ten a chance to get the spotlight on their own.
In contrast to #16, #15 is the source of the third-lowest standard deviation in the entire rankdown, and the lowest of the songs above the bottom three. How did this happen? Well, when only one person ranks this song in their top ten and only one person ranks this song in their bottom ten (clearing that person's bottom ten), you tend to get a pretty low standard deviation. When a whopping fifteen people rank this song in the 11-25 range...that's a recipe for a really low standard deviation.

The reactions to the reveal of #14 is one of the ones I was most excited for, before I even received the first ranking (that wasn't my own, of course). The excitement was warranted, as this is the song with the second-highest standard deviation. Six people lose top tens here, including three top fives, while another five will lose a bottom ten, including two bottom fives. Oh, and another THREE people will lose their last bottom ten with this reveal. Hold on to your butts.

In comparison, #13 will inspire far less controversy, though it will actually bring a couple of people together, for once. With this reveal, we see three top tens fall, including one from someone who just lost a top ten with the last reveal, while we only lose one bottom ten. Thirteen of the eighteen participants ranked this song in the 11-25 range, so, basically, we have another "Muscle Museum" situation, only with more top ten rankings.

Okay, one thing I didn't tell you when I talked about #13 is that it was the calm between two storms. #14 might have inspired some controversy, but #12 is the metric ton of controversy. It's time...#12 is the source of the highest standard deviation in the entire rankdown. What's interesting about that fact is that there's only three people who ranked this in the bottom ten (with one bottom five), though it does clear out one person's bottom ten. But the top ten losses...oh boy. EIGHT top tens go out here, including four top fives and a (tied for) rankdown-high three #1 losses. Yes, whatever song you think this is, it probably is that song.

With #11, we have reached a milestone: The only tie in the entire rankdown. One song was able to just barely squeak into the top ten, while the other had to settle for #11. As I've already mentioned (I think that I did, anyway), what wound up separating the two songs was the second-highest ranking, not the highest ranking. That's how close things were between #10 and #11. #11 has eight top tens, including two top fives and another #1. On the other side, there are two bottom tens, and one of them is the last bottom ten for another poster.

"Madness" was the song that got me into them after I liked "Uprising" which I had originally heard in a mashup with Blondie's "Call Me".
