Expected. But I'm not complaining. It's just a pleasant surprise that it even got to #2. Plus it lost to my #5, so obviously I find both songs to be incredible.

P-P-P-PERFECT RANKING!!!
As much as I love SUBG, BTHE is by far Kelly's best tho. The emotional tone, the more hard rock-pop vibe of the song, the lyrics of heartbreak, every single thing about it is amazing. BTHE is the song that Kelly Clarkson was BORN to sing. Don't get me wrong, I love Style, but I put a childhood classic above it, and it won by 11 points.
Now I want to know the closeness rankings.

Looks like the battle was pretty close, those are 2 great pop songs!
Interestingly enough, none of them topped the Hot 100 and peaked at the same position!

I was going to be happy with any of my top 4 winning to be honest, so yay! to Kelly winning.
It was however sad to see so many classics being under-ranked in this RD... I Want it That Way, Baby One More Time, Who Knew, Stronger deserved much much better... especially when a song like Into You was able to make the top 10 (I do like it, but not for top 10... nor The One That Got Away either).
Good to see that at least Celine Dion managed an acceptable ranking, as well as My Life and U + Ur Hand, all of which I thought could be under-ranked.
In any case, this was a fun RD.

"Who Knew" deserved to make the top 10 at least! What an incredible song. It probably would've been a #1 contender for me. I'm a little surprised "The One That Got Away" made the top 10, but not disappointed. I expected "Into You" to be top 5, but I'm glad it did well anyway.
"Since U Been Gone" is really good but overrated. Glad it didn't win. "Teenage Dream" was my #1 out of this top 10, but the top 3 was great! "Style" is Taylor's best song, but I'm glad Kelly won. "Behind These Hazel Eyes" is a classic.

lol there was a lot more sh*t in this rankdown than the 1999 rankdown so that's why it isn't lower
