WTF happened to SuRie's performance. I mean, I know someone rushed the stage but I didn't get to see it properly. What an asshole whoever that was.

Jess was maybe a liiiittle better here than she was in the semi-final. Still not Dami level, and there were a couple notes I wish she'd landed on instead of sliding into them, but still better than Isaiah and hopefully she does better with the televote than he did.

Yeah I read that. I also read apparently her odds went waaaaaay up with bookies after the incident. We'll see how that pans out - it would suck if SuRie gets tanked with the juries (since the jury final happened already and those points are already determined) but then this grants her a good televote and her final result is still garbage.

I want: Australia and the UK to pull through.
I need: Estonia to smash.
I expect: Cyprus to contend for the win.

Not liking how these jury votes are starting out for Australia OR the UK. Not impressed. :sip2:

Ireland not getting any significant amount of points though... We can always say it's homophobia.

Toy was definitely the most interesting song out of the bunch so I'm happy for the win. I was rooting for Fuego though, her performance sold me the song.
I was ready to turn off the TV the moment the juri voting ended, Austria and Sweden had the most produced-to-win songs, I'm glad people didn't care for them.

Eleni gave her 1000000% with an actual song and not a novelty song only usable for making yourself look as ridiculous as possible while bopping to it. I can't believe that the judges gave a song with lyrics like 'pourouapoapapa' and 'pikachu' such a high score. I'm pressed as fuckkk.

Terrible winning song for the third year in a row.
My country's televote has been announced, no points for Israel. It's kinda comforting that people didn't fall for the gimmick.

Terrible winning song for the third year in a row. My country's televote has been announced, no points for Israel. It's kinda comforting that people didn't fall for the gimmick. Hvala bogu, Slovenia! I also saw that Serbia televote gave only 1 point and jury 2 or other way. And televote gave 12 to your country. I am surprised how bad is this song! Viva la diva was really a winning song for Israel, this... No words how bad it is. And I see maybe 2 positive comments out of 100 everywhere for the song. Embarassed France gave it 12 points jury & public ...

LOL I liked the Israel song! I never care for lyrics when listening to music, so maybe that's why many of you disliked it? Other than that, I don't understand how a song as below average as the one from Austria, managed to get so many points! Estonia and Sweden were great as well. And Cyprus and Serbia were just trash.

Tonight we could only vote for Serbia, if there are other countries in the game, we support everyone, but give the high points to the one with the best song. Slovenia's jury gave 12pts to Sweden, it was great to see one of the few songs that could be hits outside of Eurovision being rewarded. The juries really liked Austria and Germany. I liked Austria well enough, but it was surprising seeing it at #1 after the jury voting.

Yeah, the lyrics of the Israeli's song were a major turn off for me. I'm a 30-year old straight female and I'm all for female power and all that, but those lyrics really had me running for the hills. I also didn't support my own country (Slovenia) because of cringe-worthy lyrics. I mean, I know it's Eurovision and I don't expect super deep lyrics from songs, but I have some standards.

Sweden song was bland and mediocre af, is beyond me how it slayed the jury vote, glad the televote took that shit down. Glad TOY won, and glad Fuego ended as second. Spain deserved better, the song was strong but the stage was mediocre. There's a lot of things to change in the spanish delegation.
