Basically what the title suggests. Most of these are rapper + singer ala Eminem ft. Rihanna But there are few major collabs (i.e. Bruno Mars ft. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga ft. The Weeknd) Few that come to mind are 'Beautiful Liar', 'Bang Bang' (kind of) and 'Everything Has Changed'

DJ Khaled brings the biggest collabs imo -
Quavo, Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper and Justin Bieber Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Jeremih, Future, Rick Ross, August Alsina Kodak Black, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross
but Calvin Harris' new album pulls in some big names -
Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Big Sean Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Young Thug
as well as potentially the most intriguing collab I've ever seen -
Takeoff, Snoop Dogg, John Legend

Do you mean major *pop* artist collabs? There are plenty of collaborations within r&b, hip-hop, and country, and Cross-genre collaborations are also quite common. But purely pop collabs are fairly rare. Even two of your own examples kind of prove the point - Beautiful Liar was an r&b and Latin superstar combo, while Bang Bang has a rap feature (and honestly BB would not have been considered a 'big' collab at the time it was first released, b/c Jessie J has never been a big US star; it just happened to turn into a big hit despite that fact).
Lady Marmalade was a huge deal but it too had an r&b singer and a hip-hop rapper on it, and at the time P!nk was still considered r&b-leaning pop so it wasn't a pop collab in the purest sense. But considering some of the tension that did occur with Christina's manager making sure his client got the 'big' parts in an attempt to overshadow the others' star power, that is probably the biggest reason why these things don't happen a lot - too many egos, personality clashes, and or unhealthy competitive thoughts.

Yeah, I could be wrong on this but I feel like P!nk later said it wasn't really Christina herself so much. I know Mya said she wasn't aware of any drama with anyone and they all got along just fine in rehearsals and performances. To bring myself back on topic a bit, sometimes it's not even the singers themselves that keep these collabs from happening but the people all in their ears, pumping their heads up or creating friction where there was none. When You Believe almost didn't happen because both Mariah and Whitney were afraid that the other didn't want to do it and they didn't want to stick their necks out just to be rejected.

There is always the issue of too much hype and high expectations when a collaboration of that nature is announced and then when it finally is released and it's of a disappointing nature or it's lackluster, it either underperforms or totally flops. Then it's just not a good thing for all parties involved.

Daft Punk feat. Pharrell, can't get much bigger than Get Lucky tbh.
The Chainsmokers and Coldplay.
Just to say that there are more than these 5 pop divas we all stan for

Daft Punk were NOT non-existent before Get Lucky. They hadn't charted for maybe a decade, but they'd still had hits with One More Time, Da Funk, Around the World, Harder Better Faster Stronger etc.

They were huge in Europe and dance culture and their Tron-soundtrack reached #4 and was certified gold in the US in 2010. Something that Britney should try to reach next time around *kidding*

Drake- Forever ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem.
The 4 biggest names in rap at that time collaborating on one song. I'd say Kanye and Drake are still up in the top 4 with Kendrick Lamar definitely taking Eminem's spot. As for #4 it'd be either J. Cole, Chance the Rapper or maybe Quavo.

Daft Punk were basically non-existant before Get Lucky. *Collapses* OT: This is something that I've taken notice of before. Not that there are no collabs between the biggest artists of a period but it just seems like there would be more. It'd be great to see another Gaga and Beyonce collab (on a better song than Telephone please). These pairings do tend to be more frequent in the hip-hop and country spheres though.

I think it's a mixture of label politics, and the worry that they wouldn't meet the insane expectations.
