The Dutchess, Unwritten, and Doll Domination seem to be the favorite picks so far!

The Dutchess Rankdown Welcome to my first ever album rankdown, folks! I'm taking a quick break from my Au$tin Presents series. You voted, and I listened, so the album we will be doing in Fergie's debut album, The Dutchess! The Dutchess was a marvel to behold as it skyrocketed the female vocalist of The Black Eyed Peas to superstardom. The album spawned five massive hits: "London Bridge," "Fergalicious," "Glamorous," "Big Girls Don't Cry," and "Clumsy" with "Here I Come" doing modestly in the countries where it was a single. It also got a sixth worldwide single from "Finally," though the single kind of bombed.  That didn't end the era, though, as a deluxe edition was eventually released as well with a Heart cover single, "Barracuda," for Shrek the Third, as well as another promo single for the Sex and the City film with "Labels or Love." The deluxe edition also featured the single, "Party People," from Nelly's Brass Knuckles album, that also featured vocals from Fergie. This brought the album's total tracklist from 13 on the standard edition to 22 tracks across several international editions and a deluxe edition re-release. Needless to say, Fergie was everywhere from 2006-2008. Unfortunately for her, due to label problems, The Black Eyed Peas reforming, and several other personal issues, Fergie's sophomore album was delayed ELEVEN YEARS to 2017's Double Dutchess, released just a few weeks ago, to less than disappointing numbers.  That isn't going to stop us from celebrating her fantastic debut album with this marvelous rankdown! RulesBelow is the tracklist. You will listen to all 22 tracks from the album then rank them from best to worst based on your own personal preference. You will rank them as followed: 1. Best Track 2. Second Best Track 3. Third Best Track ... 22. Twenty-Second Best Track (Or Worst Track, if you look at it that way) You will then submit this list to me through a personal message. DO NOT POST YOUR RANK IN THIS THREAD! Wow she really had that many songs in this album? Fergalicious through Finally are on the standard edition. Close to You through Pick It Up are from different bonus track edition from the likes of Japan, the UK, etc. Barracuda through Labels or Love are from the deluxe edition re-release. |
