It would have been great if they did this about four months sooner. I stayed a night in Jackson back in July, and I was surprised that there was no Classic Hip-Hop/R&B station there. There are several in Georgia and the Carolinas.

Since April 2012, Jackson's had WFQY (970 AM), along with its FM translator W256BL (99.1). WFQY and its translator are collectively known as B-Day 99-1. |
