It’s been nine years since a Taylor Swift album opened below a million. I don’t see her having a massive drop from the last one, but in the 800k area is likely.

I think Taylor will have a 1 million opening easy. She's riding off the back of 1989, whatever her current single is. It's the follow-up to Reputation that will have a drop, I'm guessing.

Were all U.S. dates on sale prior to the album release? That definitely would explain the level of the projected numbers as Ms. Alecia Moore Hart is a touring force.

Great sales, comparatively terrible streaming for P!nk but it's no surprise I guess...

HA! The only upcoming big release is Taylor Swift. hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=308932Thursday, October 19, 2017 OH, GOODY. WE LOVE SURPRISES.The industry is abuzz with rumors of a surprise release believed to be coming this week. The expected drop, it need hardly be said, would add to an already weighty Q4 schedule. So what is it? Who's got it? Will there be snacks? The answers to some of these questions will be answered shortly.

This is like, the 15th "surprise release" HDD has talked about post-Beyoncé, and they've always been incorrect.

If HDD were to be trusted, it'd likely be Eminem. His name is under their Coming Soon section.

Just imagine if "U + Ur Hand" and "Who Knew" never happened. Crazy! There's so many examples like this. Like Irreplaceable with Beyonce?!! Rude Boy with Rihanna... Mmmm NO!! Lol There's.nothing.like.U+UH.and.WK! Seeing WK flop and then U+UH struggle, just to have all us P!nkches call and email radio stations, participate in rate the music polls, while criticizing Dr Luke (and label through him) live here in Pulse has never been replicated! Great memories!!!!!

This is projected to be her biggest opening week ever. Is there a reason for it? it can't be just because of the bundle. I'm really happy for Pink getting thing great first week numbers, but I can't really understand how she's doing better than before, when she had these huge lead singles.

I'm really happy for Pink getting thing great first week numbers, but I can't really understand how she's doing better than before, when she had these huge lead singles. She's a very popular and reliable live act with an older audience who knows what they will get and have more disposable income to put up early. She'd likely have gotten a good number anyway with how high this is, but the effect of the bundle shouldn't be underestimated on someone who has spent a decade concentrating on her live act reputation first, despite the many hits in that period.

hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=308941Thursday, October 19, 2017 FUTURE AND THUG GET SUPER SLIMEYFuture and Young Thug are about to drop their surprise collaborative mixtape, Super Slimey. The hip-hop superstars released the artwork on the socials today. Look for the release to begin to populate in all DSPs tonight (10/19) at 11:30ET. Future's back-to-back mixtapes FUTURE and HNDRXX (Freedbandz/Epic) dropped in February; the pair did 140k and 121k first week, respectively, and are at 931k and 559k SPS RTD. Like Future, Young Thug is a streaming giant, and has most recently helped power the Camila Cabello single "Havana" (SYCO/Epic) into the stratosphere.

I was referring to how artists were struggling with an album and it looked like the prospects for that album, as well as their entire careers, were possibly in jeopardy, but how that was turned around with a breakthrough hit single.

Future seems to have beaten Drake by releasing 3 albums (regardless of whether they were mixtapes or not) in a span of just over 9 months. Good thing his songs are not as popular as Drake's.

What happened to that "album" that was this week's no. 1? It's not even in the top 20 predictions? What do you mean? It's NF's fourth studio album but a rather weak #1 so I guess it'll chart somewhere at #20-30 range

P!nk has knocked one out of the park with Beautiful Trauma (RCA). The album’s first-week total is 407k SPS, with sales representing 384k of that figure. The contributing ticket bundle is in the neighborhood of 200k, making it by far the biggest of the year. That gives P!nk the biggest debut of 2017 by a female artist, and the third biggest since consumption was added to the charts; Adele (3.4m) and Beyoncé (653k) are the top two. Additionally, Beautiful Trauma is the year’s fourth biggest debut overall behind Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Ed Sheeran. ( HDD)

Yes, so happy for her! It's amazing that she's going to get the 3rd highest album debut with SPS for a woman behind Adele & Beyoncé!

184K+ even without the bundle would've been a great opening when you take into account that it has been over 5 years since she released her last album. You have other artists with more successful singles struggling to hit 6 figures.

Yep, this shows great stuff for P!nk. Even for people who want to look down on the tour bundle, the numbers are still some of the best for the year

P!nk is a queen So happy for the album selling so well
I think a lot of people catch on to her cause of her loveable personality and dedication to her craft given how much she promotes. Like not so many other artists have that charisma and charm P!nk's personality has
