What are some of the strangest combos of artists you've seen collaborating on an actual song? I'll start with a few examples:
Hailee Steinfield ft Alesso, Florida Georgia Line, and Watt Bebe Rexha ft Florida Georgia Line Maroon 5 ft Future Green Day ft Miranda Lambert Weezer ft Lil Wayne

-Angelique Kidjo and Peter Gabriel (on "Salala")
-Deep Dish and Stevie Nicks (on a re-recorded version of her song "Dreams" that she originally did with Fleetwood Mac; this collaboration originally started as a bootleg mix and then Stevie went into the studio and recorded new vocals and even included it on her own greatest hits album)
-Deep Forest and Peter Gabriel (on "While The Earth Sleeps" from the Strange Days soundtrack)
-Dolly Parton and Ladysmith Black Mambazo (on a remake of "Peace Train" originally by Cat Stevens)
-Elton John and Alessandro Safina (on a re-recording of "Your Song" around the time it was used in Moulin Rouge though Ewan McGregor sang that version of it)
-Elton John and RuPaul (on a remake of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" for EJ's Duets album)
-Patti LaBelle and Kristine W. (on a remake of Kristine's own "Land Of The Living" for Patti's Classic Moments album)
-Scissor Sisters and Azealia Banks (on "Shady Love"; Azealia was credited as Krystal Pepsi)

The majority of the remixes in "Make America Psycho Again". Most rappers felt awkward amidst the songs. Demi's Irresistible one, on the other hand, didn't feel as weird as you'd think it'd be.

Samantha Jade & City Girls
On paper the combo doesn't seem too strange - pop artist with a rap feature (City Girls are on the remix for Sammi's current single 'Bounce') but the circumstances of the artists in question don't quite line up.
I mean, Sammi isn't chasing the US market right now/anymore, so that's not the reason, but on the flip side IDK what audience City Girls even have here in Australia? IDK what kind of draw they were expecting out of this particular match-up because I don't think it moved the needle any for Sammi or the song. Even Pitbull (trash and back-to-irrelevance as he is) made more sense when she featured him on 'Shake That' a few years back.

Apparently, there's a song called "Winning". The ones credited are... Snoop Dogg, Rob Patterson (of Korn) and Charlie Sheen.
