Imo Gucci Gang isn't that bad. It's also not very good, but it's not the worst trap song ever or anything. I'd rather it go top 10 then Bank Account, that's for sure.

If "Gucci Gang" hits the Top 10, I'm pretty sure Lil Pump would be the first person younger than me to have a Top 10 hit.

How old is Lil Pump again? 17 Oh, so he is younger than me. By about two years. Well it's getting to that time of my life in which artists are getting younger, while I'm getting older. God, I need a drink.

Don't necessarily see what's wrong with him being 17 that it's worth a facepalm. I mean, he's basically around the same age as Lorde was when she started becoming popular and she's good. Oh, and while we're on the topic of age, if Lil Pump enters the Top 10 next week, I believe that would make him the first person born in the 2000s to have a Top 10 hit, correct?

Obviously Bieber made it before him as well as legions of other artists. So you mean younger than you at the time of the song charting. If it was younger than you currently are, then he definitely would not be the first. Yeah, it's always crazy when you reach that point where there's a successful artist that is younger than you.

I was about to say no, that would be Willow Smith, but Whip My Hair peaked at #11. (Coincidentally today is her 17th birthday.) Technically Blue Ivy had a small cameo in the Mi Gente remix, but she isn't credited.

I only list songs that are doing big on sales (Wolves) or streaming (Boom Boom) in their first few days since they're the ones that stand to have notable Hot 100 entries. While Ghostface Killers is gaining, Rap Saved Me is a little too iffy (straddling top 40 on sales, no streaming numbers yet) for me to list it.

Ghostface Killer is probably one of my favourite songs of the year so far. Metro Boomin is an incredible producer, and no one can convince me otherwise.
As for Lil Pump, 17 is still a few years older than me so I'm not going to comment on his age, but I will say that it's funny that a SoundCloud rapper has finally landed a top 10 hit.

Gucci Gang needs to hit number one before the end of the year to keep a long-standing trend going: The first act born in the 70s to have a number one song was Tiffany in 1987. The first born in the 80s was Hanson, who had a number one song in 1997. The first born in the 90s was Sean Kingston who hit number one in...2007. So we need the first act born in the 2000s to have a number one hit be this year!

Not someone exactly a year older than me (fun fact: I googled his birthday and found out we were both born on Aug 17th) possibly going top 10. And the song isn't that bad. Looks like I'll be rooting for this to happen, then.

Remember when 8 weeks in the top ten seemed like a long time? "Wow, it's been top ten for TWO WHOLE MONTHS!" Ha ha ha Looking at "Shape Of You", I can't even imagine a number one song from January 1989 still being in the top 30 in November 1989. That's just crazy talk!

Sort of wish the charts had the turn around that they used to. I get it, it's more accurate now and blah blah, but it was more fun to watch.
