Interesting, if we were in the days when sales and airplay made up the vast majority of points, the top 2 songs would be rock.

I was looking at this week's Billboard charts and annoyingly, the ones for Top Album Sales and the Artist 100 leads to a blank chart, while you have to set the date to get the refreshed Billboard 200. The Hot 100 seems fine, BTW.

Thinking out loud is Ed’s big hit. Which two are you considering the moderate hits? Because a team, sing, don’t, photograph, and even LEGO house to a degree performed well Don’t, his first top ten, and SING, which almost went top 10. I obviously just mean in the US, too, if that wasn’t obviously already (it probably was) Photograph went top 10. I think you’re underselling his pre shape of you success

But Ariana now is in a much better position than Ed was before Shape Of You so I don’t see why Ariana debuting at #1 isn’t plausible when just a few months ago Ed did (which others doubted, as well). This isn’t me saying she is guaranteed or anything but she definitely has a chance

The Gucci Gang Saga continues: BB's On-Demand Songs chart has an error, not showing the chart ---> www.billboard.com/charts/on-demand-songs/2017-11-25I remember that they updated yesterday with GG at #2, which makes no sense since it's #3 on Streaming Songs and #12 on Hot 100.

This isn’t me saying she is guaranteed or anything but she definitely has a chance The difference is Ed had been building momentum. His debut spawned a couple mid-level hits and he got some Grammys attention, but it wasn't huge success. He then built on that with his second album, where the lead single was his biggest hit to that point and he gained momentum with the follow-up and then really broke through in a big way with "TOL" (and found even bigger Grammys success). That set the stage for him to debut huge with "SOY." Plus, people seemed to love the song. Really, Ariana was in that position going into the releases of her third album. The problems for her were that she started having public relations issues, and "Focus" wasn't all that loved. So, her momentum halted. She did gain it back some with a couple top 10 hits, but it no longer feels like she's building momentum in her career. That doesn't mean she can't debut at #1, of course (if she releases at a slow time and has a killer single, who knows?). The odds just aren't likely.

The problem is that there are two main things On-Demand doesn't count: programmed streams and YouTube. The YouTube numbers for Gucci Gang were through the roof, a 3.8m-ish gain over the week to 22 million streams, and programmed streams make up a negligible portion of streaming activity, so a #2 in on-demand and potentially a #1 for the rest should've guaranteed it a better spot than #3 on overall streaming.

'On Demand' is a subset of 'Streaming' It makes sense that it can be #2 On Demand and #3 Streaming Gucci Gang had 4.3M more YT views than Bodak Yellow last week. Add that to a big lead on ODS chart (GG at #2, BY at #11) and it doesn't make sense at all that Bodak Yellow is ahead on Streaming Songs. I mean, the only way that BY is ahead on Streaming Songs despite a 4.3M YT disadvantage would be if they were close on ODS, but that's not the case.

On the 11/18 chart Gucci Gang had 36 million streams and rose to #2 due to the release of the video. On 11/18 Bodak Yellow was #3
It seems reasonable that there is a slight drop in streaming as this is the second week of the video. While the Bodak Yellow song has been steady for a while.
Rockstar is #1 with 43.6 Havana is #4 with 31.9
Numbers for #2 and #3 were not posted this week but they are both probably between 32 and 36
Bodak Yellow is bulleting on Streaming this week; Gucci Gang is not
Not believing the error thing but if it matters I suggest emailing them, they might respond with an answer

My estimated streaming numbers for last week:
Gucci Gang: 16.6M on-demand + 22.4M YouTube + 1.6M programmed (#74, +22 on Pandora): 40.7M streams (26,630 streaming points)
Bodak Yellow: 11.4M on-demand + 18.0M YouTube + 6.0M programmed (#3, -1 on Pandora): 35.5M streams (21,698 streaming points)

^I agree that the whole Streaming Songs deal with Bodak Yellow at #2 with a bullet while Gucci Gang at #3 with no bullet.
Another thing somebody pointed out is that for The Way Life Goes it was revised so got Nicki got the feature and Oh Wonder's feature became uncredited.
