I'm sure either "Hips Don't Lie" or "Whenever, Wherever" will top the rankdown (as usually the most obvious hits do), but I'm rooting for both "Inevitable" and "Ojos Asi" as the underdogs! Really happy both were able to get to the top5! "La Tortura" wouldn't bother me as a winner... maybe it can do it

Wtf Az? Not what I expected your last place to be considering that you did not even have it that low in my Female Rankdown. In your rankdown it came down to song selection. But as a Shakira song this is f**king weak and I have absolutely no use for it.

Also I absolutely love her vocals inflections and phrasing on "Underneath Your Clothes." Her voice is so powerful and angelic on it. Wish it had made Top 5 instead of the overrated "Whenever, Wherever" tbh.

7. Underneath Your Clothes (9): I've always loved this one. She sounds great -tender, strong, passionate, melancholic. And I also like the musical structure. Easily her best English-only single. 6. She Wolf (14): I've liked this since it was released, but I felt it could've been better. The pre-chorus is a bit underwhelming (I mean, the coffee machine in an office is cringy but I don't mind it, it's more about the notes and how that part sounds. The chorus is ok, the production is good, and the disco-ish style is strong. The best parts to me are the SOS and when the string sound kicks in at the end of the song. Should've been a bigger hit in the US--but this has still overstayed in this RD.
In the end, this is quite a solid top 5, though. I have left: 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 But, still #Justice4EstoyAqui !!

Surprised one 2 people picked "En Tus Pupilas" for their album-tracks rankdown. That track is pure heaven!

I have been following this rankdown from time to time. I wanted to participate but I was too lazy to listen to her early songs, so I gave up. I know her from Whenever wherever and also do know some earlier songs, but many do not (10 in all) and also I completely do not know her last 2 albums, or 3 (except Sale el Sol)
So, now when this is closing to an end
I will give my top 10 of songs I know (some are not on the list)
1. La Pared 2. No 3. Devocion 4. Loca 5. Hay Amores 6. Te dejo Madrid 7. Antes de las Seis 8. La Tortura 9. Ojos Asi 10. Wherever whenever
yeah, I prefer her Spanish ones

I strongly recommend giving the Dónde Están los Ladrones album a listen. I also became aware of Shakira when "Whenever, Wherever" was released but that album is simply amazing. I'm sad I only discovered it 19 years later.
