Happy that "Tú" could get inside the top10, but I wish it could've gone a bit further... I love the song! The live version from the MTV Unplugged is really amazing!

Objection is cute and all but Te Aviso, Te Anuncio is the superior version.
Again would like to apologize for ranking Estoy Aqui at #12. In hindsight it should have been an easy top 10 pick.
Didn't expect to be the highest rank for Tú, such a great song. I might have ranked it higher but my top 2 is just great (although neither covers the similar lyrical themes or depth as Tú).
She Wolf better leave now.

15. Did It Again (24): Another good fusion song from Shakira. Really like the samba influence and her delivery. Why this wasn't leased as a single in the US is another decision I'd never get --but Shakira's discography has lots of these decisions unfortunately 14. Las de la Intuicion (43): I don't hate it despite being the lowest ranker (huh?!)--it just hasn't aged that well. It feels too generic for her as well, and for sure there are MANY other better singles. Back at the time, it sounded more current and like a good single -rather than Illegal for example... 13. Don't Bother (26): I really liked this when first released, in the context of Kelly Clarkson's rocker era. It's true that her inflections were a bot rough and hard to get at the beginning, plus the Tai-chi line always felt cringeworthy, but I still liked it as it felt genuine for her while being edgier and something closer to her pop-rock music of the 90s and less like the pop singles of Laundry Service. Wish it had been much more successful in the US. 12. Chantaje (22): This is my favorite off El Dorado, quite catchy and smooth without being too generic. Still, not top 20 material for me though. 11. Ciega Sordomuda (11): Definitely one of my favorites from Shakira. This was a pretty good lead single of her second mainstream album (although not as good as a couple of songs off PD), which also put front and center her fusion style, which would become a trademark of her career. Loved the video, the Mexican style, the rockier bridge, her delivery... 10. Tu (16): Musically, lyrically and vocally, this is clearly one of Shakira's best songs. Great to see it in the top 10. 9. Estoy Aqui (2): WHAT???!!!!! This song being outside the top 5 is a travesty (Az, seriously, what happened with your taste to rank this at #44?!!! ). Listening to this song for the first time was such a breathe of fresh air! A female singer doing pop with attitude, personality, mixing it with strong vocals, sprinkling it with some folk and rock sensibilities? YEAH! We needed that :) Deservedly, this one was a HUGE hit back home, basically becoming song of the year, and one of the 1990s classic. Still among her best songs ever. Quite disappointing that no song from Pies Descalzos made the top 5. WTF are Obsession and She Wolf doing above this one? Geez. By the way, Shakira recorded a new video once EA became a smash. Her first video was quite low budget and with a look that wasn't as polished 8. Te Aviso, Te Anuncio (23): FINALLY! I mean, I do like it, especially the sort of B-52s sound, the Tango intro, and the bridge. Good song, but just not as strong as several that have already left.

Info: "She Wolf" is a song by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, taken from her eighth studio album of the same name. It was released on 10 July 2009, as the lead single from the album. The song was written by Shakira, John Hill, and Sam Endicott. Shakira and Hill also served as the producers for the song. A Spanish-language translation of the song titled "Loba", which features additional lyrical contributions by Jorge Drexler, was also released earlier on 6 July. Really surprised this got so high on this rankdown. o.O I don't dislike it, but it's definitely far from Shakira's best work. I remember being super disappointed when this came out, as I LOVED the Fijacion Oral era, and this was certainly a big departure from that. I like it more today, but still, not really Top 10 material for me.
