The Bigs, The Hits & The Deeps rankdowns

Hey there! Welcome to the Bigs, the Hits & the Deeps (a 3-in-1 rankdown that covers my 2nd through 4th ones). Each one has 30 songs, organized accordingly to the respective theme. Keep in mind that, although all three are from the same branding, they are also independent -- with different songs and due dates -- which means you don't have to participate in all of them if you don't want to but I'd really appreciate it.

The Bigs, part 1 of the 3-in-1 RD, has 30 smashes. You're bound to know most, if not all. They dominated the Hot 100: all songs in here peaked inside the top 4. It was likely impossible to escape them in their peaks.

Rank the songs from #1 (your favorite) to #30 (your least favorite) and PM me (Taiga ) your results. The preference revealer can come in handy at times. The reveals will be according to the points achieved through the golf system (i.e. smaller score wins) and, if a tie should happen, the smaller SD gets the edge. As all 30 tracks are well-known, I don't think it'll be necessary to give you guys much time. The deadline is set to December 4.

The Hits, part 2 of the 3-in-1 RD, has 30 hits (duh). You're bound to know some, but maybe not all. You might've forgotten how this or that goes. Still, they are pretty known. They've all made the Year-End Hot 100 of some year, but weren't as big as the ones from Part 1.

Rank the songs from #1 (your favorite) to #30 (your least favorite) and PM me (Taiga ) your results. The preference revealer can come in handy at times. The reveals will be according to the points achieved through the golf system (i.e. smaller score wins) and, if a tie should happen, the smaller SD gets the edge. As the 30 tracks are somewhat known, I'll give you guys an extra week than what it was given in Part 1. The deadline is set to December 11, then.


PS: although not a hit yet, Wolves was added here in spite of the potential it has for the future. Also, it wouldn't make sense to say it is "obscure" lol.

The Deeps, part 3 of the 3-in-1 RD, has 30 lesser-known tracks. You might know one or other, but this goes over the head of mainstream. None of the tracks in here made any Year-End Hot 100s. They might've been featured in some part of pop culture but were swiftly forgotten. They may be non-US hits. They may be genre hits. They may be hits in nowhere.

Rank the songs from #1 (your favorite) to #30 (your least favorite) and PM me (Taiga ) your results. The preference revealer can come in handy at times. The reveals will be according to the points achieved through the golf system (i.e. smaller score wins) and, if a tie should happen, the smaller SD gets the edge. As the 30 tracks are lesser-known, I'll give you guys two extra weeks than what it was given in Part 1. The deadline is set to December 18, almost a month from now.


PS: although lesser-known, I've decided to keep this single-only. Album cuts would be way too much lol.

The whole aesthetics from these rankdowns were based on Divide, tbh. From the backgrounds, to the fonts and the recycling of the obelus (the division sign).
I'm a huge Ed stan and I think this was a nice way to homage him. They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, don't they? lol

I am totally on board with this, the Hits, and Bigs should be easy, but I am 50/50 on the Deeps though.

Ooh this is a cool idea. I know most of the songs on here, so I may slide a list your way for one or more of these.

Side note: Fix You should not be under deep cuts, even if it may not have done too well on the charts I'd argue it's more well known then many of the hits. There are several other songs on deep cuts that I would argue are a bit too well known for that category as well, but that's the most glaring one.
