This is my favorite Christmas song of all time. No "Jingle Bells" no "Frosty the Snowman". Also best breakup lyrics ever.

The simplicity of this song makes it epic.
11. Too Funky
Definitely funky . Plus, who doesn't love super models in music videos.

Fastlove next? For the sake of my #1 no thank you. Admittedly, my guess is altered a bit by my location. Fastlove was was his final top 10 in the US, but it was not as big a 'moment' here as the other four songs - I remember during last year's Grammys several people online wondering why Adele chose to sing that instead of one of his 'bigger' classics - whereas it seemed to match or exceed the other songs' success in other countries, particularly the UK and Australia. I would not at all mind being wrong though! I have no complaints about any of these five songs winning. And I was also sure that ESW would make the top 5, yet here we are. So I could very well be wrong again lol. |

IS George Michael's most iconic vocal delivery. Beautiful song.
9. Praying For Time
Great song. The only ones I really didn't like were my bottom 10.
8. I Knew You Were Waiting.
Love this vocal team up.
7. Everything She Wants
There is still one Wham song left.
6. I Want Your Sex
It just wouldn't be a pulse rankdown, if I didn't have ,one song with the word "sex" in my top 5.

Here we are, at the final two!
To be honest, when I started this rankdown, it was these two songs that I thought could possibly make it to the end. I thought maybe Fastlove would take it when I started getting submissions as it was in the running early on but it was only ever really between these two. They flip-flopped pretty much until the end and only 10 points separate them.
Fine by me, they are both iconic and incredible songs.

Oh wow! I thought "Careless Whisper" was a shoe in for #1. That sax is the most epic thing in a pop song ever.
5. Faith
The classic. The look; which he later admitted he hated was a look I tried to mimic since just a teen. Up to this date, I never lost the sunglasses or leather jacket. I got rid of the ear ring tho.
4. Fastlove
One word. "class" this is a classy pop song. The colours, the music. Even the dancers show class. Something that is extinct now a days.
3. Careless Whisper
Probably my favorite Poptart song of all time. Easily. nuff said.
2. Freedom 90'
Great vocal delivery and easily my favorite music video featuring beauties, that isn't from a hard rock band.
1. Father Figure
This is a great song too. I didn't see this being #1. That was a surprise, but at least its an 80's song. You can't keep a good music era down.
