These are both good songs, but I'm not too upset that they're the first two to go. Just too bad that Stapleton didn't go out #9, as he would have been the second one to go from the top ten.

#8 leans a bit close to "The Louvre": low Top 10s, multiple #1s, but without the hate.
Eight people put this in their Top 10, but three of those come right at top. Seven people decided to put this in their bottom 10, which is more than "The Louvre", but we only see a single bottom 3 for this, while the rest of the bottom 10s are nicer.
This never left the Top 20, and it more or less was a Top 10 contender from the start. If I know how to add, it spent 15 lists outside of the Top 10, which is pretty decent. This one actually almost hit #1 more towards the beginning, but it couldn't keep that magic going.

Honest question: for those of you that don't like much country music, what is it about "Diane" that you do enjoy? "Second One To Know" I kinda get because its much more AAA than Country anyway, but I'm honestly baffled that a stone-cold country song like "Diane" makes the top 10 here. Please enlighten me! For me, it's the lyrics, the harmony, and Cam's lovely voice. Though, I may be slightly biased.

Really dug the classic country aspect of this one, to answer Zac's question.

#7 moves to a different look.
Unlike the past two songs, #7 had quite the love. Twelve people ranked this song inside of their Top 10 with half of those coming in the Top 3 alone. Did this song have a #1? You'll find out soon. Seven people ranked this song in their bottom 10. We have two #40s remaining...and one of those arrives here.
#7 is also our first song to achieve a big feat: this song spent every list in the Top 10. This spent six lists at #1, and it even looked like it could find a spot inside the Top 3 in the end. Sadly for it, the #40 didn't help, and a decent amount of the bottom 10s came at once and dropped it out of the Top 5.

Diane was my favorite discovery from the tournament! Her voice is great and the style of song is so unique!

My favorite "discovery" of the whole tournament.
Nothing like ranking this at #94 for the 2016 Alt rankdown, then putting this Top 3 on both this and seed #4, as well as carrying it into my personal chart. This completely changed my opinion of Glass Animals.

#6 carries our biggest feat of the whole tournament.
Thirteen people ranked this in their Top 10: the second most of this Top 10s round. What's its big feat? This carries the most #1s we have seen by any song in any of the seeds. Now, how does a song like that get drowned to #6? Eleven people ranked this in their bottom 10, and four of those land in the bottom 3.
This song spent 15 lists in the Top 10, and it never left the Top 20 (it barely left the Top 15). This was poised to do well from the start, and it certainly achieved that by landing here at #6.

I liked this less this time around than in the #4s rankdown. I pretty much had a favorable opinion of most of the songs (I think my bottom 4 I particularly don't really like but everything else is good) so my #34 rank was actually a surprise to me as I didn't think I ranked it that low but I guess it just kept getting pushed down.

THIs is a really good song but I donβt know why anyone would have this as number one or rank it in thier bottom 10. I just donβt get the hype either way.

I'd heard this in the #4 seeds but I'd forgotten about it. Great re-discovery!! Should've made the top 5.

We only have 5 songs remaining, and they all placed at #1 or #2 in their seeds.
#5 has twelve people that ranked this Top 10 β though, no #1s are in play here. Just six people here ranked this in their bottom 10, while none were particularly terrible, there is a lone bottom 5.
This is another song that spent its whole time inside of the Top 10, and it spent a solid chunk of its time inside the Top 5. It was mainly in the 3-5 range for all of this.

I don't get the love for I'd Rather See Your Star Explode, it's nothing memorable. "Novacaine" is lights year better.

Please donβt let Free win this. The rest are great but Free is a bit overrated imo.
