Hello! Most of the music I love to listen to is 2010s music. But I decided that there should be another rankdown for my favorite songs in the era I listen to much less; before 2000. well this is a short introduction paragraphUnlike my other personal rankdown, I will be revealing hints for this one; this is my first rankdown with hints. Starting tomorrow (December 3), hints will be revealed for 2 songs a day. The hint process will take 20 days, which means this rankdown will have 40 songs. Hey guys! I apologize for the small delay. I had a ton of homework for the past two days, but I am back to reveal more hints. But as I return, I have made a decision, and that is that there will be no more image/GIF/link hints. Instead, I feel that I should try out word hints like in Milo's or humanshazam's personal rankdowns. So to catch up, I will post hints for songs 5-10 soon and have you guess by tomorrow. |

I don't think you'll get these but I'm trying...again, my first rankdown with hints. 5. 1980s, #1: From an alternative (?) band that released a new album this year 6. 1990s, #4: The song this group is known for the most; Dance and funk song 7. 1990s, #2: The first single from this alternative band. It is the highest-peaking song from the band, but a different song from them is much more popular today. 8. 1980s, #1: Iconic and most popular song from a very popular artist in the 80s 9. 1980s, #2: Song from a one-hit wonder that's not commonly heard today; I think the only other hint possible is that it has a key change 10. 1980s, #1: It is on the all-time chart; from an alternative/rock band that has a ton of songs considered classics |

I am happy to say that this rankdown is officially open!
Since it's been 2 months since I've made the original song list, during the time between I've added more pre-2000s songs to my Spotify and I decided to add 4 of them to this list and replace 4 of the songs on the original list. "California Love", "My Sharona", "Pump Up the Jam", and "Shattered Dreams" have been replaced with "Jump", "Need You Tonight", "Stomp", and "Sweet Dreams".
