 I swear if AIWFCIY goes top 5 on Christmas week... It won't. It will get 4 good days of streaming that week, but then it will have basically no streaming the last 3 days of that chart week. Its sales always start falling a little before Christmas, and it will only have 1 day of airplay that chart week. I guess it could get top 5 the chart week prior. |

That 1 point difference for #1 tho.. If Ed releases the Bocelli version at the same time that the Beyoncé duet came out (5 hours would be counted towards this week), it could actually be the tipping point that keeps Perfect at #1 with that small a gap. |

The influx of Gummo, I Get The Bag, and Motorsport in the Top 15 knocked New Rules down to #17. I swear to god if Gummo gets to the Top 10 and New Rules doesn't I'll personally kick my own ass.
And did Praying completely fall off the Hot 100? I cannot find it.

Praying collapsed on pop radio and since it was #21 weeks, it went recurrent when it fell below #50 (this week). Also, it doesn't say that New Rules gained in points this week so it probably would have fallen anway

I think the sales component is just based on how much it sells. Not based on whether it was 3rd or 4th or 5th on the sales list. Unless the Voice songs actually outpeaked "New Rules" on the Hot 100 itself which they obviously wouldn't. |
