Another stellar debut single from one of the new artists that broke through this year. However, it was my lowest remaining song left, so I'm happy to see it out here.
2nd lowest SD next? I think it's "I Could Use a Love Song" next.

Coming up at #3, the only other song to actually be a challenger for #1 (besides the song that actually finished at #1.) This song was #1 for a fairly significant amount of time, and was even #1 like 5 reveals before the end of the submission process!

Of course I wanted this to win but I had a feeling it wouldn't but I also felt so guilty that I didn't have it as my #1 last year. So of course it was gonna be my #1.
Like 2016 the non Maren song will win, I feel no suspense honestly as its been a forgone conclusion well before this started that LBT was gonna win.

Also the Maren Morris appeal continues to dwindle with me. I do love "My Church" and "80s Mercedes" is a good upbeat jam. But "I Could Use A Love Song" burned out on me fast, "Rich" is horrible, and her pop song "The Middle" is at best mediocre.

I prefer "I Could Use A Love Song" over "80s Mercedes" but not by a large margin. It was enough to have ICUALS in the top 10 and 80s Mercedes at #15 for me here though.
So it's my 1 vs. 4, how exciting!!!
