Of course. Eff this overrated boring ass song. Surprise! I kept my tanking of this song quiet. And I did not tank it on purpose. I never liked this song. Its a snoozefest. I knew that caged did not like it either.
What shocked me is the tank from JT and Sabre.

Is ten #1s on one song the most for any rankdown? Run Away With Me in Carly Rankdown had everyone rank it at 1 except 4 people. I believe in Kesha Rainbow Rankdown, Praying had 16 number 1s. |

Honestly both songs can f**k off now. Don't @ me, I'm sorry radio overplay has killed any liking of either of those 2 songs for me. As of a couple weeks ago they're both dead to me. Like I said rank doesn't reflect current state of opinion it just sucks because the more I look at it. Last year sucked in terms of what was popular. There was so much garbage. With this year already off to a ho hum start.
Fun rankdown. Hopefully 2018 Country Rankdown there won't be a consensus automatic win before it even starts. Looking at the chart I don't see a clear cut frontrunner that has been released yet.

126-point difference between "Better Man" and "I Could Use a Love Song", quite a big gap there. "Better Man" is one of the best songs that Little Big Town has released ever. Karen's vocals are as good as usual, the vocal harmonies are on point as usual (because LBT duh), the production is nice and subdued but it builds up nicely to the chorus where the narrator's emotions explodes. Taylor Swift's songwriting is also stellar in this song. Literally everything is perfect about this song. I'm really glad "Better Man" got rightfully crowned as the winner of the 2017 country RD, and thanks bboat11 for hosting! These modern country RDs are a blast (not that the other country RDs aren't) and I'm looking forward to the next one (2013 is it?). |
