If AT40 should use the Mediabase Calendar Year-End Chart (January 1 through December 31) which has just been released, here are the Top 40 Songs: What if they were to use the calendar year chart, but not count recurrent spins either (a la Billboard) and use the top 100 instead of just the top 40 (a la the iHeart year end chart)? I regret that I do not have such data. By the way, I would not like them to drop the recurrent spins data from tabulation as it does not correctly reflect what we have listened to on radio during the year. Songs which have been supported by radio stations (and their listners) for longer period should be ranked higher than shorter-life hits.
