"Hate It Or Love It" was probably one of the unluckiest ever songs to peak at #2 on the Hot 100. If I remember correctly, it was #2 for 5 consecutive weeks behind 50 Cent's own "Candy Shop" and Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl". Talk about bad timing. As far as its placement on the rankdown, though, it did a lot better than I expected. I never would have thought it would make it to the top 20. I guess I should be happy that a lot of...certain other people didn't participate, lol. I just love everything about the song - the instrumental, the powerful lyrics/message, the flow. I would even go as far as to say that it may have the best instrumental of any 2000's hip-hop song. I'm honestly shocked that my #4 is still in. |

#13 will be last for tonight. It has the highest standard deviation of the game and was one of only two songs to receive a #1 rank from two participants.

I'm pleasantly surprised. I like the song, but it was easily my least favorite song remaining. I'm very surprised at my #1 and #4 beating it, though. If my #31 and #27 leave, even though I like them a lot, everything else will be in my top 12.  |
