Go Crazy would have been top 10 this week without the new releases...let's pray for a new peak next week

It must be very rare for a song featuring a North American artist to go top 5 in UK and not chart on the US hot 100

Taylor Swift's new album could be her first to score more than a week at Number 1.
Taylor Swift's Folklore has been released on CD three days earlier than planned in the UK.
The superstar's eighth album was released on Friday, July 24 on streaming and download platforms only after being announced just 17 hours prior. The record debuted at Number 1 last Friday (July 31) with 37,000 chart sales.
The album's release on CD was planned for August 7, but in an unexpected move, Taylor's UK record label EMI made the collection available from yesterday (August 4), with copies arriving in shops and being shipped from online stores.
It gives Taylor a fighting chance of a second week at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. Irish band Fontaines D.C were leading the way earlier in the week with new album A Hero's Death, but Folklore's significant physical sales boost means it could hold on to the summit.
If it manages it, Folklore will be Taylor's first album to spend more than one week at Number 1 in the UK. View Taylor's Official UK Chart history in full.
Taylor's website still lists Folklore's cassette release as September 18 and the double vinyl on November 27.
In the US, Folklore debuted at Number 1 with 846,000 chart sales - the biggest opening week of 2020. Lead single Cardigan also landed at top, making her the first artist in US chart history to debut at the top of the Billboard singles and albums charts in the same week.

Head & Heart has a strongest week of streams yet to keep the Number 1 spot.
Joel Corry’s Head & Heart featuring MNEK is shaping up to be the UK’s song of the summer as it scores a third week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.
The dance-pop track enjoys its strongest week yet on the chart, racking up 79,000 chart sales, including 9.5 million streams. Head & Heart finishes a healthy 24,000 ahead of its closest competitor, Savage Love by Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo (2).
British producer Nathan Dawe edges closer to the top spot, up one place to Number 3 with Lighter ft. KSI - both acts’ highest chart position to date.
Meanwhile, four more songs in the Top 10 reach new peaks: Harry Styles’ summer smash Watermelon Sugar rebounds three places to Number 4, AJ Tracey & Mabel’s West Ten lifts four to Number 5, Regard & Raye’s Secrets climbs five spots to Number 6, and Chris Brown & Young Thug’s Go Crazy jumps four places to Number 10.
Billie Eilish claims the highest new entry of the week with My Future at Number 7, earning the US star her seventh UK Top 10.
A dance cover of Toploader’s Dancing In The Moonlight by Swedish duo Jubel is now perched outside the Top 10, up four places to 12. There are also big climbs for Mood Swings by Pop Smoke ft. Lil Tjay, up 17 spots to Number 16; Becky Hill & Sigala’s Heaven On My Mind leaps 6 spots to Number 17; Fake Friends by producer PS1 ft. Alex Hosking hops six rungs to Number 28.
Further down, dance producer/DJ Paul Woolford makes his UK Top 40 debut with Looking For Me with Diplo and Kareen Lomax, zooming 25 places to Number 35, and Kygo & Tina Turner’s What’s Love Got To Do With It? returns to the Top 40 at Number 38.

Yeah, Head & Heart is comfortably ahead of the peak. I'm just glad it's preventing Savage Love from having an extended run at the top.

I’m surprised that GREECE is doing better than POPSTAR in the UK.

^The UK music audience has significantly different tastes than those in the US. It also explains why Only You Freestyle is probably charting there and is best charting song of those 3 songs, although Greece could end up with the best longevity.

Plus big climbs for Ava Max, Jubel and a new entry for Juice WRLD and The Weeknd.
US rappers Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion look set to snag the UK’s highest new entry of the week, while it's a non-mover for Joel Corry and MNEK as summer smash Head & Heart cruises towards a fourth week at Number 1.
Cardi B’s website crashed earlier this week as the announcement landed of new collaboration WAP with Megan Thee Stallion. Released on Friday, limited edition copies of the single were also made available to pre-order on coloured vinyl including pink and gold editions, picture disc and cassette. 48 hours into the chart week and it looks like the pair will secure the week's highest new entry (6) - and if they maintain their momentum, WAP will become Cardi B’s fifth UK Top 10 hit, and Megan Thee Stallion’s second.
A dance cover of Toploader’s Dancing In The Moonlight by Swedish duo Jubel continues its eight-week ascent up the Official Chart, looking likely to break into the Top 10 for the first time on Friday, up four places midweek to Number 8.
Further down, Ava Max is on track for the highest climber of the week and a potential new peak position too for Kings and Queens, up 12 places to Number 12. Plus a new Top 20 entry is on the cards for late rapper Juice WRLD & The Weeknd with Smile (18).
The Official Chart First Look is based on preliminary sales and streaming data from the first 48 hours of this week’s chart race, the fuller picture will emerge as more data arrives throughout the week.
The final Official Chart Top 40 will be unveiled on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart with Scott Mills this Friday from 4pm, with the full Official Singles Chart Top 100 published on com from 5.45pm.

Joel Corry and MNEK extend their reign over the Official Singles Chart as Head & Heart enjoys its strongest week of streams and sales yet to claim a fourth week at Number 1.
The track notched up 81,000 charts sales – including 9.9 million audio and video streams – to keep its place at the summit.
Meanwhile, Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion make a big splash with WAP, scoring the week’s highest new entry at Number 4. The entry marks Cardi’s fifth UK Top 10 and Megan’s second – and it’s both their strongest Week 1 debut on the chart to date.
Mood Swings by the late US rapper Pop Smoke ft. Lil Tjay lifts eight places to Number 8, becoming his second UK Top 10 and highest-charting single yet following last month’s Number 9-peaking The Woo. Another track by the rapper, For The Night ft. Lil Baby and DaBaby, rebounds six spots to Number 30.
Swedish duo Jubel edge ever closer to the Top 10 with their dance re-work of Toploader’s Dancing In The Moonlight ft. Neimy, up one place to 11, as does Becky Hill & Sigala’s Heaven On My Mind, hopping three spots to a new peak at 14.
British rapper and actor Bugzy Malone enters at Number 18 with M.E.N III, his third UK Top 40 and highest-charting single to date, while Little Mix’s Holiday zooms 11 places to Number 19. Fake Friends by New York producer PS1 ft. Alex Hosking lifts six places to a new peak at 22.
There are two more new entries in this week’s Top 40: Juice Wrld and The Weeknd collaboration Smile lands at Number 23, and We Won by D-Block Europe enters at Number 31.
Further down, two singles climb into the Top 40 for the first time: Jason Derulo’s Take You Dancing vaults 12 places to Number 34 to become the singer’s 21st UK Top 40 entry, and Hallucinate by Dua Lipa climbs nine spots to Number 39, four weeks after first entering the Top 100.

We could also see notable entries from Miley Cyrus and Paul Woolford & Diplo.
Drake heads for a big Top 5 debut on The Official Chart: First Look, as Joel Corry & MNEK gear up to hold at Number 1 with Head & Heart.
Already ahead by 5,000 chart sales after 48 hours, Head & Heart is comfortably on course to land a fifth consecutive week at Number 1. Their closest competition, Lighter by Nathan Dawe ft. KSI, is up one place to potentially land at Number 2 this week.
Drake's new single, Laugh Now Cry Later ft. Lil Durk is heading for the week’s highest new entry, at Number 3 on today’s sales flash. It’s set to be American rapper Lil Durk’s first appearance in the Official Singles Chart, and Drake’s 17th Top 5 single. Drake's already enjoyed seven Top 20 hits in 2020 so far including a Number 1 with Toosie Slide.
Jubel’s Dancing in the Moonlight ft. Neimy could finally hit the Top 10 this week, currently up one place to Number 10.
Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus is set to debut at Number 13; it would be Miley’s 13th Top 20 hit if it stays on course. It’s the first new music we’ve had from Miley since her appearance on the 2019 Charlie’s Angels theme Don’t Call Me Angel with Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey.
Finally, DJs Paul Woolford and Diplo could enter the Top 20 with Looking For Me ft. Kareen Lomax – flying nine places to Number 18 after just 48 hours.
The Official Chart First Look is based on preliminary sales and streaming data from the first 48 hours of this week’s chart race, the fuller picture will emerge as more data arrives throughout the week.
The final Official Chart Top 40 will be unveiled on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart with Scott Mills this Friday from 4pm, with the full Official Singles Chart Top 100 published on OfficialCharts.com from 5.45pm.

Plus big new entries from Drake, Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa, Madonna & Missy Elliott.
Joel Corry and MNEK hold on to the Official Singles Chart Number 1 with Head & Heart for a fifth consecutive week.
With 68,000 chart sales, including 8.2 million streams, the summer dance anthem now holds the longest consecutive run at Number 1 of 2020, while The Weeknd still leads overall with eight total weeks at the top with Blinding Lights.
Rising two places in its second week, Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP climbs to Number 2 as the song continues to grow. WAP is now both Cardi and Megan’s highest-charting single in the UK.
Drake claims the highest new entry this week with Laugh Now Cry Later ft. Lil Durk at Number 4 - it's Drake’s 16th Top 5 hit and Lil Durk’s first appearance on the Official Singles Chart. Mood Swings by the late Pop Smoke ft. Lil Tjay rises two to a new peak of Number 6, a new Official Singles Chart best for both artists.

BTS are on track to score their biggest UK hit yet with Dynamite, their first entirely English language single.
BTS’ new song Dynamite is off to an explosive start on this week’s Official Singles Chart, taking an early lead at Number 1 following its release last Friday (Aug. 21).
The track, which hears the group name-drop everyone from Lebron James to King Kong, is their first entirely English language single.
Dynamite notched up 1.7 million streams in its first 48 hours, and is currently 1,700 chart sales ahead of Joel Corry & MNEK’s five-week chart-topper Head & Heart. As things stand, Dynamite could be BTS’ first Official UK Number 1 single, or their first UK Top 10.
BTS have scored two chart-topping albums in the UK: Map Of The Soul: Persona made them the first Korean act to top the UK charts in April 2019, while Map Of The Soul: 7 hit the summit in February this year. View BTS’ Official UK Chart history in full here.
Meanwhile, British rapper Headie One could also be making his strongest chart debut yet this week with Ain’t It Different, currently at Number 4. The track features AJ Tracey and Stormzy and serves as the lead single from him upcoming debut album Edna.
The final Official Chart Top 40 will be unveiled on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart with Scott Mills this Friday from 4pm, with the full Official Singles Chart Top 100 published on OfficialCharts.com from 5.45pm.

Plus there are big new entries for BTS and Headie One in this week's Top 40.
Joel Corry and MNEK hold on to the Official Singles Chart Number 1 with Head & Heart for a sixth consecutive week, holding off a fierce challenge from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP.
Head & Heart racked up 62,000 chart sales – including 7.6 million streams - to keep its place at the top, finishing ahead of WAP by just 1,700 chart sales.
Meanwhile, K-pop group BTS claim this week’s highest new entry with Dynamite, which opens at Number 3. It’s the group’s highest charting single and first Top 10 in the UK – their previous best was a Number 13 peak with Boy With Luv ft. Halsey in 2019. View BTS' Official UK Chart history in full here.
UK rapper Headie One also scores a big new entry this week at Number 4 with Ain’t It Different ft. AJ Tracey and Stormzy. The track, which heads up Headie’s forthcoming debut album Edna, is his fourth Top 10 and highest charting single yet, following the Number 5 Drake collaboration Only You Freestyle last month.
US rapper and singer 24kGoldn has the biggest climber of the week, zooming 40 places to Number 11 with Mood ft. Iann Dior, while Jason Derulo’s Take You Dancing continues to edge closer to the Top 10, up three to Number 16.
Meanwhile, Vera Lynn’s version of Land Of Hope And Glory enters the Official Singles Chart at Number 17 following rumours the song, along with Rule, Britannia! were to be dropped from the Last Night Of The Proms. The BBC reports orchestral versions of both songs will be performed at the concert on September 12 due to there being no live audience and a reduced number of singers and musicians at the event due to social distancing.
Further down, US singer-songwriter Conan Gray makes his UK Top 40 debut with folk-pop ballad Heather, up 19 places to 22; Abra Cadabra’s On Deck sails 35 places to Number 32; and Clean Bandit land their 12th Top 40 single with Tick Tock ft. Mabel and 24kGoldn, new at Number 36.

Plus new songs from Blackpink ft. Selena Gomez and Calvin Harris ft. The Weeknd are on course for big new entries.
It’s shaping up to be a close race for this week’s Official UK Number 1 single, with Cardi B’s WAP ft. Megan Thee Stallion poised to take the Number 1 spot from Joel Corry’s Head & Heart ft. MNEK.
In today's Official Chart First Look (Aug. 30), WAP is currently ahead by less than 80 chart sales, meaning it's still all to play for this week's chart crown.
WAP has been eyeing up the top spot since its release, debuting at Number 4 in mid-August and spending the last two weeks at Number 2.
Boosted by viral success on TikTok, US rapper and singer 24kGoldn is on track to score his first UK Top 10 single with Mood ft. Iann Dior, so far up six places to Number 5.
Meanwhile, K-pop girl group Blackpink are off to a strong start with their new single Ice Cream ft. Selena Gomez, currently at Number 12 and on course to be the group’s highest charting single yet.
Calvin Harris’ brand-new collaboration with The Weeknd, Over Now, is also on course for a Top 20 debut, currently at Number 19. As things stand, it's set to become Calvin's 35th UK Top 40 single.
The final Official Chart Top 40 will be unveiled on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart with Scott Mills this Friday from 4pm, with the full Official Singles Chart Top 100 published on OfficialCharts.com from 5.45pm.
