Here is your Top 15: "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" "Chains" "I'm That Kind of Girl" "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)" "Blame It On Your Heart" "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye" "I Try To Think About Elvis" "Here I Am" "You Don't Even Know Who I Am" "Halfway Down" "You Can Feel Bad" "Lonely Too Long" "She Drew A Broken Heart" "To Have You Back Again" "On Your Way Home" What song are you most shocked to see in the Top 15? What song are you most surprised did not make the Top 15? Only 1 more #1 ranked song will be eliminated before the Top 10, which song will it be? Two albums will be eliminated within the next 5 eliminations, which albums will they be? Which five songs will miss the Top 10? I'm a little surprised that "I'm That Kind Of Girl" and "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)" are still in. They were pretty good songs of course, but tbh "Blame It On Your Heart" felt like it kicked off the string of her most iconic songs, and anything before that other than "Chains" and "Timber" seemed like it might be somewhat forgotten. I'm a bit surprised that "Jealous Bone" didn't make it! Also "A Thousand Times A Day". "The Last Thing On My Mind" is amazing, but I guess I am not too surprised about that one. It better not be MY #1! I could see it being one of the older tracks here like I mentioned in my answer to the first question. I think that my #1 is safe, but I should probably knock on wood... Which songs will miss the top 10? I predict the following, in no order: "Halfway Down" (Lol a nice freebie here ) "I'm That Kind Of Girl" "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)" "On Your Way Home" One that will be a bit of a shocker... Maybe "Lonely Too Long"? That could also be the song that is somebody's #1 that ends up missing the top 10!

Lol "To Have You Back Again" is SO catchy! It has one of those choruses that just continues to grab me more every time I hear it! I have honestly been regretting not putting it at like #2 pretty much ever since the day after I submitted my list But it's had a good run, so I am okay with this placement. It seems like many didn't think it would do this well, so I'll take what I can get!

The hints for #15 was that When Fallen Angels Fly would finally lose a song. The hint for #14 was Trisha Yearwood's "There Goes My Baby" as both that song and "To Have You Back Again" were written by the same songwriters. I have to get ready for work but I am going to post a hint before posting #13: Another album is eliminated after Long Stretch of Lonesome was just eliminated at #14. bboat11 you will not be surprised by this elimination... oh and Clint Blacks' "Loving Blind" is the hint for this song

I ranked this one at #21 and do wish I had ranked it higher. She sounds amazing on this and I'm happy this song got the support it did because I was not expecting it.

up next at #12 is the next song to feature a #1 rank. No one has guessed this song yet, Clay Walker's "Dreaming With My Eyes Wide Open" is the hint.

Maybe "On Your Way Home"? I have no idea what that would have to do with the hint though... Lol

Aww man, I'm bummed to see this one miss the top 10 :( This is probably my most egregious under-ranking of the entire list... I listened to this one on my iTunes randomly like a week after this rankdown started, and I was speechless by how beautiful her voice sounded in places, plus the strong lyrics. Then I went back to look at my list and was like DAMMIT! Oh well, at least I still recognized its quality enough to put it in my top 20. Should have been my top 10 though, and a top 10 in the overall rankdown would have been nice!

not gonna lie I was a little disappointed with the low rankings for this song, as I just find this song to be incredible and her vocal performance elevates it to a point that is just amazing!
Also the hint was that Tony Arata, the writer of "Here I Am", also wrote "Dreaming With My Eyes Open"
ETA:
One of Patty's 5 Billboard #1 hits ("Timber, I'm Falling In Love", "Chains", "Blame It On Your Heart", "You Can Feel Bad", and "Lonely Too Long") will be the next song eliminated and the last to miss the Top 10!
With that hint I did just confirm that "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)", "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye", "I Try To Think About Elvis", "You Don't Even Know Who I Am", "She Drew A Broken Heart", and "On Your Way Home" all made the Top 10!
What is going to miss?

Well, you didn't say that anybody else would be losing their #1 before the top 10, so I am 100% confident that "Blame It On Your Heart" and "You Can Feel Bad" are safe "Timber" is probably safe too. I think the one most likely to leave is "Chains". "Lonely Too Long" is a possibility as well, but I would prefer to see it outlast "Chains". So I will go with "Chains" for my prediction!

Wow, I did not see that coming. I thought "Here I Am" was a lock for the top 10. Very surprised to see this one ranked outside of the top 20 by some of you! I'm going to agree with bboat11 and guess "Chains" will miss the top 10.

Lol I feel like I overranked this one... I enjoy it a lot, and understand its possibility, but "Here I Am" DEFINITELY deserved to be ranked higher... Lol

How did both "Nothin' But the Wheel" and now "Here I Am" miss the top 10?!?! Those are classics of the genre, not just in Patty's catalog. I am stunned.

They are easily among my top 10 favorites from her and I was really sad to see them get tanked by a few people. I love "Chains" but I was also a little surprised that it almost was in the Top 10!

I'm pleasantly surprised to see On Your Way Home still in. I remember when it came out and I feel like it was never popular on the radio and I don't remember ever seeing a video. But I love the song.

What I respond to most with Patty is her searing voice and how it wrings emotional truth out of songs. That's what I get from songs like "Here I Am" and also album tracks like "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive." I do love her bluesy stuff too (another favorite album track of mine is "That's Exactly What I Mean"), but it's so odd to me to see her classic ballads leaving before the top 10. Also, I like songs like "Blame It on Your Heart" and "I Try To Think About Elvis," but it's sad to me those type of 'gimmicky' songs are what are doing best. But I definitely believe in to each his or her own!

Seriously that song is Patty at her best. Moving on... What song are you most shocked to see in the Top 10? I'm somewhat surprised "I Try to Think About Elvis" and "On Your Way Home" made it in. I also feel like "She Drew A Broken Heart" is a bit overrated on Pulse...it's a fun song for sure but is it top 10 material for Patty? I don't think so. What song are you most surprised did not make the Top 10? "Here I Am" Which five songs will miss the Top 5? "I Try to Think About Elvis," "On Your Way Home," "She Drew A Broken Heart," "Hurt Me Bad" What song will be the #1 song? Based on its popularity on Pulse, I'm going to guess "Blame It On Your Heart." But I'd like to see something else win. What is your prediction for the Final 10? I'm going to guess the top 5 will include "Blame It On Your Heart," "You Don't Even Know Who I Am," "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye," "Timber, I'm Falling In Love," and "You Can Feel Bad."

What song are you most shocked to see in the Top 10? Definitely expected "On Your Way Home" to be out by now given that it wasn't really successful while the other 9 were... but not complaining because it's the best song left. What song are you most surprised did not make the Top 10? A bit shocked that "I'm That Kind of Girl" missed. Thought that one might even make Top 5.Which five songs will miss the Top 5? "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye," "On Your Way Home," "Hurt Me Bad (In a Real Good Way)," "I Try to Think About Elvis," and "Lonely Too Long."What song will be the #1 song? "Blame It on Your Heart," with maybe an outside shot for "Timber, I'm Falling in Love."What is your prediction for the Final 10? 01. Blame It on Your Heart 02. Timber, I'm Falling in Love 03. You Can Feel Bad 04. You Don't Even Know Who I Am 05. She Drew a Broken Heart 06. Lonely Too Long 07. How Can I Help You Say Goodbye 08. On Your Way Home 09. Hurt Me Bad (In a Real Good Way) 10. I Try to Think About Elvis

What song are you most surprised did not make the Top 10? "Here I Am" comes to mind as the most egregious omission, although "Chains" could have easily been a justified contender as well.
Which five songs will miss the Top 5? "On Your Way Home", "Hurt Me Bad", "Lonely Too Long", "She Drew A Broken Heart", and maybe "I Try To Think About Elvis"?
What song will be the #1 song? Still think "Blame It On Your Heart" will take it, just because it is her biggest hit. But the more I dive into Patty's catalog, the more I would love to see a more obscure classic like "You Can Feel Bad" take it!
What is your prediction for the Final 10? 10. "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)" 9. "On Your Way Home" 8. "Lonely Too Long" 7. "She Drew A Broken Heart" 6. "I Try To Think About Elvis" 5. "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" 4. "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye" 3. "You Can Feel Bad" 2. "You Don't Even Know Who I Am" 1. "Blame It On Your Heart"

I don't really see "Blame It On Your Heart" and "I Try To Think About Elvis" as gimicky myself but I do get what you are saying. "Here I Am" is just phenomenal, I cannot rave about that song enough I'm gonna post a couple Album Highlights tonight

This album featured new recordings of songs she had done previously including "Handful Of Dust" from her When Fallen Angels Fly album. Her single "Blue Memories" was also rerecorded for this. Emory Gordy, Jr. produced this album and Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Rhonda Vincent, and Del McCoury all sang background vocals on this album. tim Tags: George Strait Junkie someguy tim austin Cody Wants Out... dub sbp17 bboat11 .indulgecountry Troublemaker Kanenrá:ke LBTrocks sabre14 jenglisbe
