After participating in numerous rankdowns, lots of peer pressure has led me to bring some Urban flavor to the 2018 rankdowns and pop my hosting cherry by presenting:  Since my fave's 20-year anniversary is next month (It's All About Me dropped 2/14/98), I figured her own rankdown would be an awesome way to celebrate!
Step 1: Listen to the playlist below and rank your favorites in order 1-32. The selections were limited to her lead artist releases (including promo/planned singles, soundtrack cuts, most streamed album tracks and her independent work) and the handful of features where she was prominently featured on more than just the hook (so no Ghetto Superstar and Girls Dem Sugar, unfortunately).
NOTE: The Movin' On (Remix) with Silkk tha Shocker is not available digitally so feel free to rank either version. Also, Best of Me, Part 2 with Jay-Z is included in the list but it's somehow available on every streaming service but Spotify.

Perhaps there are a few that I like a little less. I actually love the song, I just thought it might've been right up Disco's alley (a campy dance song). Like how he was the highest scorer for "Throb" in the Janet rankdown. (Lowkey I might end up being the highest scorer instead). Yes. There are just about 10 songs I'll need to listen to (mostly recent ones). The rest I'm already very familiar with. |

doesn't make sense to exclude arguably her biggest hit Ghetto Supastar when so many album tracks and non-hits are included as well. Somebody Like Me and Girls Dem Sugar are pretty essential songs for her as well.

ODB & Mya overshadowed Pras on Ghetto Supastar, it's practically her song, tbh. A lot of people associate Mya with Ghetto Supastar more than Pras himself. Sad but true. Girls Dem Sugar, she does more than the hook. She does the bridge as well. Most associate that song as her own as well. Both her and Beenie Man shines on that record though.
No one gives a damn about Somebody Like You. It was cute in '99 and that's where we'll leave. Movin' Out Remix, no comment. The video is an unsolved mystery. That should tell you something.
