Impressed with Too Good at Goodbye's top 10 longevity Same. Could it end up having his most top 10 weeks ever, if it doesn't already? Crazy.

Stay With Me spent 21 weeks in the region, so TGAG needs to make it another 7 weeks to beat his best which I don't see happening. It has had an impressive run though, especially when you consider that Stay With Me barely beats it by a few weeks and that song was way stronger in it's prime than TGAG.

Filthy possibly falling out of the top 20. No need for the Justin shade. It's alright to root for songs and artists you like, but a cutesy stunt like that ain't necessary. To me, Justin is just as deserving to stay in the top 20 as Camila and Dua are to fail at #1 and the top 10 because I happen to like his song and not the other two. But obviously, as is said frequently, whoever has the points to rank at any position is the only one who is truly "deserving" of that position.

Though it's obviously not as big as some of his previous hits, I'm very impressed with how long TGAG has managed to stay in the top 10.

That's the way the chart works. Which ever artist has the most points in a given week will get the #1 position, the one with the second most points will get the #2 position, and so on... It has nothing to do with "deserving" any particular position.

Listened to it, but thought it was kinda meh, especially if this a lead single for a new album, comparing to something like Paris. Idk, but thought it didn’t live up to expectations set for their recent 2 year dominance.

The "Perfect" version with Bocelli is surging on iTunes...again. What keeps leading to this? Also, that could close the gap in the race for Hot 100 #1.

I'm not sure what to say about the new Chainsmokers single, I don't get the message, can someone please explain to me what the hell they are trying to say? Is it political criticism?
About the sound, it sounds like The Chainsmokers are trying to imitate Twenty One Pilots, it's like a more upbeat version of Heathens. It's catchy enough but it's kind of a baffling single choice, a woke pop song coming from The Chainsmokers sounds like a disaster in the making. The words "how many likes is my life worth?" is a pretty heavy line coming from the duo that made Selfie and Paris.
I kind of like it though, it's a pretty cool sound, I appreciate the The Chainsmokers are going in a different direction instead of repeating Closer seven thousand times again. But will the GP like it? I guess we'll see. I do know that historians are gonna have a field day looking back at the pop music of the late 2010's.

Camila also just performed on Ellen, so the two versions of Havana are surging. The second version is literally #5 without the Cranberries songs... Both versions are above Finesse, which is crazy. Adding up the charting versions, you get: "Havana" - 1.3861 "Perfect" - 1.3585 So, that's pretty damn close. My only point is to say "Havana" doesn't have #1 in the bag. It needs to be ahead in overall streaming.

He's talking about the conflicting influences/messages from the eastern part of the U.S. and the western part of the U.S. I assume it's about growing up in the east (they're from Ohio) and then getting into the business (L.A.). It could also be a play on the east coast/west coast rap wars, but I think it's more the other idea I mentioned.

Perfect will have a lead in airplay, so Havana needs a decent lead in streams to get #1.

Are there any Cranberries speculation? For re-entries/debuts?
Linger, Dreams, and Zombie should all have high digital sales, some YT streams, spotify, and radio play?

That's not opinion. That's fact. That's the way the chart works. Which ever artist has the most points in a given week will get the #1 position, the one with the second most points will get the #2 position, and so on... It has nothing to do with "deserving" any particular position. I believe he wasn't referring to that part of the post, but rather the part of the post that indeed was an opinion.

Filthy possibly falling out of the top 20. LMFAO IM DYING. Also I agree with the person who said Justin is trash. Also Filthy? More like Sh*tty! Corny joke aside, the how likely is it that Finesse tops the chart if the song is performed at the Grammys?
