Well, basically, here you can answer that question!
As for me, I absolutely love chill, calm, relaxing music, but with good lyrics. Early The Weeknd (although I still love him), Vince Staples, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, Childish Gambino. I also love Post Malone and, recently, Calvin Harris.
My top 5 songs:
1. The Morning - The Weeknd 2. Money Trees - Kendrick Lamar feat. Jay Rock 3. High For This - The Weeknd 4. Sober - Childish Gambino 5. Too Young - Post Malone
My favourite album is probably Trilogy. Well, it's a compilation album, but still.

Relatively varied I think, lol. I mostly favor Soul / Rhythm & Blues, but I love pretty much any and every genre, as long as the song I'm listening to has at the very least a solid melody. That's the most important thing for me: melody, music. Production and (especially) lyrics come secondary, as far as I'm concerned. Either one or both have to be completely asinine, obnoxious to turn me off a song. And then a good vocal performance is a plus as well (doesn't hurt that my top favorite consistently delivers on that front), but not absolutely necessary.
ETA: And I think my reply was off-topic, lol.

My music taste is mostly just mainstream. I literally like most of the chart songs apart from the really bad ones eg Gucci Gang, Watch Me, Juju etc. When people say โmusic sucks noโ and โthe charts are so bad nowโ I find it hard to understand why. I donโt see how old music is SOOO much better. It just annoys me.

Pretty much any kind of pop, some older rock, and lots of older rap. I'd love to revive real hip hop again and would do anything to bring it back.

I prefer interesting and unique things to conventional things. The worst thing you could be is forgettable, in my opinion.

Most of the people who say that don't actually have any idea what the charts looked like 20 years ago. They just say that so they can feel better than the rest of the culture.

The meeting point of pop and rock with a big dose of the 80s.

Pretty varied. I mainly listen to pop, urban, electronic and at times, triple A. Never got country at all (not that it's bad) and I can't get into the rest of rock music.

I would say my musical taste is very old school. I always love disco, 80s music, and 90s rnb, but I do listen to some K-pop and J-pop artists as well.

Everybody is accepted except for country which is on an artist-by-artist probation period. Oh and that weird sector of rock music that reminds me of demonic possessions. I don't dabble in Satan's work.

My favorite genre is rap, but I'm pretty open minded for the most part. Hell, I didn't even care for a lot of the trap stuff that blew up this year(Most of them were just mediocre at best for me.) I mostly love classic rap.

Mines is all over the place tbh, probably mainly centered around dream pop vibes & catchy upbeat sounds Though this is a huge spots of R&B, Urban, Country, folk, alt, etc in my music library
It's like a weird rainbow, where each color is a genre

Pretty much everything. I'll go from listening to some metal, and listen to some Japanese girls rapping. Then I can go listen to Top 40, more pop stuff, than listen to more underground hip-hop or something.

lol But in all seriousness I'd say it's currently 60% modern rap, 10% R&B, 10% pop, 10% older rap and 10% alt or rock. I assume most people who don't know me well on Pulse assume trap is my favourite sub-genre of rap because of rankdowns, when in reality it's just because my favourite type of rap is rarely in rankdowns. The type I prefer isn't quite underground but doesn't chart on Billboard much either, think artists like Joey Badass, Tyler the Creator, Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, Run the Jewels etc etc. Also up until the past couple of years Kendrick and J Cole would've fit that bracket but apparently they are both superstars now. If i had to sum it up I'd say "slightly biased mixed bag" describes it pretty well.
