Pulse Rankdown: 2007 Year-End Active Rock Chart (finished!)

RANKDOWN SPREADSHEET

1) PM me your rankings of the top 100 Active Rock songs of 2007. Rank the songs by your preference with your #1 being your favorite and your #100 being your least favorite.
2) An inverse point system will be used to determine the point total for each song. Song #1 gets 100 points, #2 gets 99 points... all the way down to #100 which gets 1 point.
3) The due date for submission is Saturday February 10, 2018 at 9PM EST. Do NOT expect extensions to be given. Start familiarizing yourself with the songs you don't know early on.
4) ALL songs must be ranked.

Surprise guys! I'll be back to host another one of these rankdowns!

First of all, I want to thank every one of you who's helped me to host these rankdowns while I was busy. You all did a great job. Every one of you. You guys even did a better job at me, I must say, and made these rankdowns more interesting. I'd also like to thank every participant of these rankdowns for taking the time to discover new music and share their opinions on the songs.

That said, my current internship is ending soon, and I have a few weeks of break in between this internship and my next one, so I have the time to host another one of these. I'm not too sure whether I'll host another one of these rankdowns when my new internship starts, but we'll see what happens then.

I wonder if "Side of a Bullet" can beat "Feed the Machine"'s #30 mark.

It's not as popular, but it was always viewed as a good song here.

Some really good stuff on this list that's only relegated to the Active charts. I'm especially going to reiterate this here considering that their song on this list is my favorite song of theirs - please don't fuck over Hurt.

(Also - on the topic of bands that always are seemingly robbed in these - I'm not too big on Killswitch Engage or metalcore in general, but the two songs they have here are pretty good. Those should be decently high on my list, especially compared to how I've ranked them in the past.)

- With more lists received, the number of ties also decreased. SOUND THE ALARM! Three is a tie at #3. Ties are also found at #22, #36, #39, #43, #45, #57 and #86.
- The top half of the list has every song having at least 263 points.
- Ninety-one songs have passed the 100-point mark. The #100 still remains far behind from the #99, and is still struggling to reach 10 points.
- Likewise with more lists received, there's less movement. But we do see a few songs continue on their upward or downward trends.
- The #1 remains the same, but we also have a new #2, the same artist as the number one. #3 and #4 are also by the same artist. No new songs enter the top 10, but the previous #2 takes a tumble of more than 5 spots.
- After escaping the bottom 10 in the last ballot update, 1 song returns to the region, swapping places with the previous #91. Both songs are also by the same artist.
- Seventeen songs achieve their highest rank yet, while eleven songs achieve their lowest rank yet.
- Of the top 10 lowest standard deviations, one artist doubles up again. 4 songs enter, 2 of which were there before. (though the first benefited through a tie)
- The top 5 highest standard deviations remain the same. For the top 10, 2 songs enter, one was last there in the ballot update for Red.
