can you imagine opening up Facebook messenger and there is a direct DM from Madonna. As a non-famous person, I would probably think it was a scam at first or that she was hacked.

the MDNA Tour was quite the smash. Can't believe this will be my 7th tour seeing her next week! I don't know which one is my favorite. Confessions, I guess, cuz I made eye contact with her and it's her best album, but I was also alone and not with anyone to enjoy it with. Re-invention basically was mindblowing cuz that was my first. Madame X was also awesome. I don't care what anyone says. It was very intimate and powerful.
where does The Celebration Tour rank for you?

I've seen MDNA, Rebel Heart, and Celebration and Celebration is BY FAR my favorite. But her shows are always an amazing work of technical theater, so it's splitting hairs really.

Ive seen every show since Drowned World & this was easily the best experience I ever had. Not having a new album to support let her focus on the hits & that’s what the audience wanted. The reaction I saw on peoples faces when “Open Your Heart” intro or “Into The Groove” started was priceless. Even if these were just casual fans, the music still means a lot to people. For me, this is the victory lap M deserves.

Slant ranked the songs on Like A Prayer in honor of its 35th anniversary. There are writeups if you go to the link, but: 11. Act of Contrition 10. Love Song 9. Dear Jessie 8. Keep it Together 7. Spanish Eyes 6. Promise to Try 5. Cherish 4. Till Death Do Us Part 3. Oh Father 2. Express Yourself 1. Like A Prayer That's pretty much my ranking, too, though I'd switch the top 2.

I adore "Dear Jessie"- would probably appear at 6 on my list of Like a Prayer tracks. I'd have "Till Death..." at No. 2. Otherwise, no complaints with Slant's rankings.

I pretty much agree with the ranking except I would bump down Promise To Try to number 8. Love Song is pretty underrated.

I have a ton of different Madonna playlists that are based on themes, moods, mixes, etc.
This is one that I have been listening to a lot. I just call it "Moody." It is made up of some of her songs that are a bit grittier or have a darker mood to it. No surprise, it is made up of mostly Like a Prayer era and onward.
Oh Father (Single Version) Justify My Love (Orbit 12" Mix) Erotica Bad Girl Waiting Human Nature Sanctuary Bedtime Story I Want You Frozen Impressive Instant Nobody's Perfect Paradise (Not For Me) Nothing Fails Die Another Day Future Lovers Let It Will Be How High Isaac Like It Or Not Devil Wouldn't Recognize You Voices Drowned World/Substitute For Love Skin Sky Fits Heaven Shanti/Ashtangi Girl Gone Wild Gang Bang Love Spent Falling Free Devil Pray Ghosttown Illuminati Joan Of Arc Where Life Begins Secret Garden Like A Prayer (12" Dance Mix) Pray For Spanish Eyes Dark Ballet Batuka I Don't Search I Find Rescue Me

AugustFuture Lovers is the only one that surprises me. If I copy this, I may add "Heartbreak City." The live version from the RH tour made me fall in love with it and I think it's quite moody. As for pre-LAP, I could only see LDLHA, Live to Tell, and maybe The Look of Love fitting on this playlist.

Almost the same as Slant's ranking. They ranked Spanish Eyes way too low with this one.

billboard Producers of Madonna’s Historic Rio Concert Revealed Veteran promoters from North America and Brazil will collaborate on the show, which is aiming to draw 2 million fans to Copacabana Beach. Madonna's historic concert at Rio's Copacabana Beach on May 4 will be produced by her long-time promoter Arthur Fogel and legendary Brazilian producer and promoter Luiz Oscar Niemeyer, Live Nation officials have confirmed to Billboard. Fogel is one of the most accomplished concert and tour producers in the world and serves as the chairman of global touring at Live Nation, the world's largest concert promotion company. Fogel works with some of the world's biggest touring acts — a list that also includes Lady Gaga, U2, Beyoncé and Drake. Fogel will produce the concert on behalf of Madonna, while Niemeyer will work on behalf of the City of Rio and the various sponsors, including presenting sponsor Itau bank. The free Rio concert, which Visit Rio officials said is forecast to attract 2 million fans, will conclude the Queen of Pop's Celebration tour and cap off a career run that's netted around $1.5 billion in ticket sales over a dozen global tours, making her one of the highest grossing touring artists of time. www.billboard.com/business/touring/madonna-rio-de-janeiro-concert-producers-revealed-live-nation-1235642892/
