'Cherish - Extended Version' is a version that I didn’t know I needed in my life. The MIDI-esque bells are EVERYTHING!!  I have been playing this on a loop and can’t believe I have never heard this version before.  |

My favorite version of "Cherish" (which happens to be my second fav Madge song). 6 minutes of bubbly, summery pop bliss.
I wish there was an instrumental of that version!!! 😩

Two versions of Like A Prayer (Celebration and LAP album) were merged on Spotify for a total of 473,334,164.
But, these two versions should be at 480,000,000 million. 7 million streams are missing.
The TIC version of LAP is at 12.2 million streams.
LAP is now approaching 500 million streams on Spotify.
Let's hope they correct the LAP single RIAA certification at some point.

Her tours usually do not come out for home viewing until almost a year after they are done. Lots of editing to do and she has been busy with other stuff. Plus there is a news story out right now the tour may resume for another leg. |

It is a crime that this performance was not part of the Sticky & Sweet Tour from the start. This rendition of Frozen was killer.

Causing a Commotion single mixes are out on streaming now.
A couple of things I always noticed about the single mix is that the little "twinkle" sound in the beginning is brought out more. The bassline feels fuller and her intonation on the phrase "you'll see my...point of view" is a bit more syncopated. Not sure if this was an editing thing or from a different recording and they decided they liked it for the single release. But if you are not sure what I am talking about, listen to the album version and the single version. It happens in the second verse.

I was thinking today about her live performances with the Bedtime Stories album. She gives attention to the two singles on that album that were not chart hits...Human Nature and Bedtime Story. Yet, she almost completely ignores the two major hits from that album, Secret and Take a Bow. I wonder why that is? In fact, she doesn't show that album much love at all. Do you think she just doesn't like the album or she doesn't think the majority of it doesn't play well live? It is her second best selling studio album of the 90s, so a bit surprised.

Human Nature and Bedtime Story are way better songs than Secret and Take a Bow. Not surprised she favors them. Better videos too.
