It was interesting that with all of the tracks officially released from RH and the ones that leaked, that didn't make the album, that "Back That Up..." didn't leak prior to the MX album release. Unless I missed something and it did. ha I believe that the Demo was part of the big leak that happened with RH. I don't think the official version leaked with MX though. #45 on US itunes at the moment.

Yeah, i also think I had the demo back in 2015. I would have to check my files of all those leaks. Just heard it on Spotify. Haven’t had this much fun with a single of hers in a while. :)

Thanks, August.
It is a bop, Carlitoz, for sure. The sped-up version may be a tad too fast, though not bad for a dance workout.
Will this be eligible for the Dance/Electronic Songs chart?

Will this be eligible for the Dance/Electronic Songs chart? yeah, I am not loving the sped up version. Apparently, the public isn't either. The demo version is sitting at #5 on iTunes Pop singles and the sped up version is down at #89.

As expected, "Back..." has descended from its iiTunes highs of yesterday (except for Greece).
As for "Hung Up"- slowly but surely it will work its way into her overall top 10.l

Madonna was mentioned in the new Hot 100 article.
Next up are three acts that have each spent time atop the Hot 100 in 10 individual years: Paul McCartney/Wings (1971, 1973-76, 1978, 1980, 1982-84; additionally, The Beatles, with him as a member, led in seven years: 1964-70); Michael Jackson (1972, 1979-80, 1983-84, 1987-88, 1991-92, 1995; additionally, The Jackson 5, with him in the group, led in 1970); and Madonna (1984-87, 1989-92, 1995, 2000).

So apparently the new tour will be officially announced in the next weeks. I haven't missed a tour since Drowned World. Not sure yet if I will go to this one. I guess in the end I will, but haven't been amazed by her live performances in the last couple of years. She's always given a high quality product on all her tours and I hope she's planning the same for this one. Seeing a whole show of her doing what she did in the Hung Up On Tokischa video and the Maluma concert last year would be a complete disappointment...

She was four hours late to the Madame X show I went to in Vegas. I suppose I’ll buy tickets, then see on her on-time performance is. If she’s being late again, I’ll sell them prior to my show.

For my Madame X show in Chicago, she wasn't late as far as I can remember... Maybe an hour? Can't recall so that tells me it wasn't a big deal or out of the ordinary. I do remember being worried that she would cancel the show. For me it's more a matter of the content of the show. We'll see.

Madonna has always managed to balance being an artist and a businesswoman. She has refused to tour like a legacy act and now that we've had a few years proving that audiences are receptive to discovering back catalogs instead of just focused on new music I'm not surprised at these murmurings through the internet.
With the Warner deal, she can do things on her terms and not worry about being seen as a has-been act only touring on her past success.

Back That Up to the Beat is an old song. Frozen is an old song. It's not like her Madame X tracks are going viral.

I see some trolls in this thread. I’m sure she has learned lessons from that last tours on what not to do and how to make this a sell out tour by getting great reviews Also back that up is a new song. In my eyes who cares if it was a 2015 demo. You all are weird in thinking artists don’t dust off demos for new albums all the time. Anyways looking forward to her coming to phoenix www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRbWVfvH/ I’ll continue to bop to back that up !!!! It needs to chart would be great for press while she says she’s touring

I would say that was definitely true since MX and somewhat during RH, but radio and promotional opportunities gave her the time of day more like a current artist loooooooong after all of her peers (except Mariah) had fully shifted into legacy mode. My post was in terms of looking at her career across the last 10 years or so and not just the present.

She can basically do whatever she wants whenever she wants. I’m just saying there is no way she can consider herself a current Pop star. I always thought it was crazy how radio embraced 4 Minutes so quickly. It literally shot up the charts. I was like no way she’s like 50, lol.

The Re-Invention tour in '04 was basically a greatest hits tour.

^Closest to one of any tour from 2001-on. Though a GH tour, at least in the eyes of the general public, would not include stuff like "The Beast Within," "Lament," and five American Life tracks (six, as one's verse was mixed in with another), not to mention relatively "forgotten" hits such as "Deeper and "Deeper," "Hanky Panky" and "Bedtime Story."
