Yay! Since I knew my #1 would never win I was really hoping this one would! I'm really really sad this is over now, I've been loving relistening to all her songs as they're revealed and hearing what other's thought of the songs. Such a great list of singles! And such a great host! Thank you bboat11 for this one!

was slightly rooting for "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" but I love both songs (hence they were both in my Top 5!) Great job hosting as always bboat11, do hope you do a Reba Album series

Stats time!
The Reba McEntire rankdown is the 55th country rankdown to finish. "Is There Life Out There" becomes the 48th country rankdown winner. "Is There Life Out There" finishes this rankdown with an average rank of 12.73. That makes it 4th highest scoring rankdown winner. The average score for rankdown winners is 20.44, so this song scored about 8% higher than an average country rankdown winner. Meanwhile, "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" finished with an average score of 12.87. This makes it the FIRST highest scoring 2nd-place finisher in a country rankdown, by a pretty significant margin! The next highest is Patty Loveless' "You Can Feel Bad", which scored 15.15. The average of all 2nd place finishers is 25.08, which means "Georgia" finished a solid 12ish % higher than your average rankdown runner up. The difference between 1st and 2nd place was only 0.14 points, making this the 3rd closest country rankdown finish! (Right behind Shania and Dixie Chicks.) Incredible! Two people ranked the winning song at #1. BlueShades874 gets his 2nd ever rankdown victory! And Tim snatches his 10th. Thanks again to everybody who participated and followed along! This was a lot of fun

#late because I was out all day, but great conclusion! I loved both of those songs in the Top 2 and was happy with either of them winning, though I ranked "Georgia" a little higher. So happy to also see my #1 and #2 both made Top 10 and got pretty far, with my all-time favorite "Whoever's in New England" managing to make the Top 5. Fantastic. <3

So happy with the end of this rankdown! “Is There Life Out There” is by far the most deserving winner. Thank you so much for doing this!!! I had so much fun doing this! Make sure to bring me back out of retirement for the album one!!!

Make sure to bring me back out of retirement for the album one!!! Oh you know I will definitely make sure you get involved in the Reba albums But okay, for real though, since you've already removed yourself from retirement, you should consider joining any other rankdowns that sound cool! Right now there are rankdowns in the submission phase for Brad Paisley, Terri Clark, and Montgomery Gentry, as well as the year-end 1993 chart and 2007 year-end chart, Jo Dee Messina's Burn album, and Taylor Swift's Red album. And one for Carrie's Carnival Ride is coming up soon. Oh, and of course, I am hosting a Martina McBride album series We're doing the Martina album now, and that would be a perfect one to join in the meantime while you wait for me to be able to host Reba's albums! (I am worried that if you just completely disappear I will not be able to find you again when it's time for the Reba albums )

Now each day is one day that's left in her life. She won't know love, have a marriage, or sing lullabies. She lays all alone and cries herself to sleep, 'Cause she let a stranger kill her hopes and her dreams.
20. "She Thinks His Name Was John"
Album: Read My Mind Year: 1994 Total: 447Average: 29.80Std Dev: 26.92 (5th largest!!!) toomuchboy - 1Tim - 5Kanenrá:ke - 7BackwoodsBarbie - 7Sean - 8someguy - 12sbp17 - 14.indulgecountry - 20BlueShades874 - 34bboat11 - 36castleoblivion26 - 42Cody Wants Out... - 51@adam1995 - 55dub - 59George Strait Junkie - 96zaclord 🌈Kicking off the top 20, toomuchboy becomes the next #1 victim! "She Thinks His Name Was John" was a top 15 hit for Reba back in 1994, but was ultimately torpedoed by the controversy that it created. Although the song doesn't mention the disease specifically, the subject matter deals with a woman who caught HIV/AIDS from a random stranger that she hooked up with at a party when she was drunk. The song follows her life as it literally gets destroyed, and the world was not really ready to hear about it... Lol. However, Reba has never been afraid to shy away from tough subjects, and that's why we love her so much! This song is absolutely mesmerizing, with her perfect vocal delivery. That said, I am a little surprised to see it make the top 20, because it seems like one that some people might find boring. It looks like that might have been the case for George Strait Junkie, who ranked it almost 40 positions lower than the next lowest person, ultimately tanking this song's chances of making the top 15.{Songs Remaining} And Still Consider Me Gone Does He Love You Fancy For My Broken Heart How Was I To Know I’d Rather Ride Around With You Is There Life Out There Little Rock The Fear Of Being Alone The Greatest Man I Never Knew The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter The Heart Won’t Lie The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia Till You Love Me What Do You Say Whoever’s In New England Why Haven’t I Heard From You You Lie "And all her friends..." Those four words were played when our queen was announced as an Entertainer of the Year nominee at the CMASs.
