While "I Wish" was my #1 I'm so ecstatic that "Destroy The Evidence" was able to pull off a win here because it's a great song! for anyone unsure of where "Get Off That Train" or "Destroy the Evidence" comes from: Both songs were posted on Jo Dee's website as a poll for her fans to listen to them in their entirety and vote which one they liked better. I remember I did vote for "Destroy the Evidence" but I loved both. As far as I know neither song has ever been available outside of that poll. I think this was around 2009 if I'm remembering correctly ( Kanenrá:ke do you remember when exactly it was?). She left Curb Records shortly afterwards and the songs were pulled from the site. Curb has never released any new music from her since she left them so who knows if they will ever actually release these songs but it is too bad that they won't ever be fully released. The songs were recorded some time in 2011 and that fall they were put up on the poll. I only have them because you were able to download them from that poll by looking at the websites data I don't know for sure but I believe they were from her work with Kandi Burruss which clips were shown on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Knew it was after Unmistakable but that was as much as I could remember, thank you! Didn't know about the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Kandi Burress part though, interesting. I also got them from the website, which I am very thankful for lol

Wow I'm surprised by this outcome as well, but "Destroy the Evidence" is great so I'm not upset about it at all. I think it's fun when an unexpected winner like that happens, because I fully expected "I Wish" to win this thing. I would've been happy either way as both are fantastic songs. I love her version of "When I Call Your Name". I actually prefer hers and LeAnn Rimes' versions to Vince Gill's original (especially LeAnn's version). Same. LeAnn's version is my favorite rendition of that song by a country mile.

I will do this 100% if you extend it one week and let me have til the 22nd! The problem with extending it is I have other rankdowns I'm hosting (way too many actually) and am trying to stay on schedule so extending a week is a bit much for me as I have Journey due the following week and then I am out of town the week after. I also have limited time to reveal... I will keep you posted on if I can extend it.

LAST CALL! Did not get any indication from anyone that they wanted extra time therefore I will begin results for this tomorrow night! I will however give anyone until about 7pm EST tomorrow night to get their list in but once I'm home from work I will begin typing up results and will not be able to accept any more. Here are some questions to answer on what you think will happen: What song will be #1? What songs will make up the Top 5? What song will be #35? What songs will make up the Bottom 5? Which album will do the best? (Jo Dee Messina, I'm Alright, Burn, Greatest Hits, Delicious Surprise, Unmistakable, Me) Which album will do the worst? (Jo Dee Messina, I'm Alright, Burn, Greatest Hits, Delicious Surprise, Unmistakable, Me) Which non-album song will do the best? ("Destroy The Evidence", "Get Off That Train", "When I Call Your Name") How will the songs that were #1 in their initial rankdown do this time? ("Just Drive", "Destroy The Evidence") Any other thoughts/comments/predictions?RECEIVED: bboat11 Kanenrá:ke tim someguy ClevelandRox Cody Wants Out... .indulgecountry Previous Participants: bboat11 austin fearlessarrow .indulgecountry LBTrocks Cody Wants Out... someguy ClevelandRox SHOOTER dub d3vin44 Kanenrá:ke DistrictTwelve Baby Spice Tags: zaclord 🌈 George Strait Junkie countrymusicjunkie bigfan101 rgreen0625 dm2081 CoJoFan Andy @jamesflame cerulean BackwoodsBarbie Leo ✔ Troublemaker Juanca kansasmeetsmo myeverything carriekins carriefan15 14887fan jhomes87

What song will be #1? I think it'll probably be "It Gets Better". What songs will make up the Top 5? "It Gets Better", "Think About Us", "You Were Just Here", "Just Drive", "Even God Must Get The Blues". Just about all of them have a decent chance of finishing at #1, with the least likely being EGMGTB. What song will be #35? It's really hard to say! Nothing deserves it, in a list this strong. Probably one of the songs from her early albums that only snuck on here because the albums were so short, like "Cover Me". What songs will make up the Bottom 5? "Cover Me", "Another Shoulder At The Wheel", "Walk To The Light", "Angelene", "Not Dead Yet". Which album will do the best? (Jo Dee Messina, I'm Alright, Burn, Greatest Hits, Delicious Surprise, Unmistakable, Me) Delicious Surprise!!! Which album will do the worst? (Jo Dee Messina, I'm Alright, Burn, Greatest Hits, Delicious Surprise, Unmistakable, Me) Tough to say! Every album has a song or songs that are likely to be contenders for the top 10. I am going to predict that Burn will do the worst, because on average that album seemed to be the one where people were least enthused about the album tracks... Which non-album song will do the best? ("Destroy The Evidence", "Get Off That Train", "When I Call Your Name") "Destroy The Evidence"! I'm not sure it can make the top 15, but it will at least be more of a contender than the other two. How will the songs that were #1 in their initial rankdown do this time? ("Just Drive", "Destroy The Evidence") "Just Drive" will be a top 5 contender again, but I think it will fall short of a second victory because one of the Delicious Surprise ballads will curb stomp it and knock it out of the running in the home stretch. "Destroy The Evidence" I already said will do pretty well, but I see it falling just outside the top 15. I think the battle it faces in this rankdown will be much more difficult than the battle it faced in the Extras rankdown, so I don't see it being anywhere close to a #1 contender this time. Any other thoughts/comments/predictions? I am SUPER stoked for this one, and really disappointed to see the seeming lack of passion overall. Her albums are filled with so many incredible album tracks, but they have never gotten to actually compete fairly without being overshadowed by the hits. Plus we may know how they have been received in the context of her individual albums, but we have yet to see how these songs compare with each other in the context of her entire career! I am SO ready!!! It will also be pretty interesting to see what the highest-placing album tracks from each album are. For just about every album, I could see one of the songs that placed 2nd or 3rd-highest actually becoming the 1st highest in this context. Like with the I'm Alright album, where "No Time For Tears" was the highest-placing for the album rankdown, but I would be almost shocked if "Even God Must Get The Blues" doesn't end up doing better overall in this rankdown, framed in the context of her whole career. "It Gets Better" and "You Were Just Here" are both such incredible songs, I would not be shocked to see either of them end up winning this thing; the entire rankdown could potentially come down to which of those two finishes higher this time. And "Just Drive" is incredible, but I was floored to see it come out ahead of "Think About Us" in the album rankdown, and would not be surprised to see either of those finish ahead of the other this time.

What song will be #1? I can see something like "It Gets Better" winning.
What songs will make up the Top 5? "It Gets Better", "Silver Thunderbird", "Love On a Maybe", "You Belong In The Sun", "Someone Else's Life"
What song will be #35? "Walk To The Light"
Which album will do the best? (Delicious Surprise) Which album will do the worst? (Unmistakable) Which non-album song will do the best? ("Destroy The Evidence") How will the songs that were #1 in their initial rankdown do this time? ("Just Drive", "Destroy The Evidence") I see both falling somewhere in the 6-12 range.
Any other thoughts/comments/predictions? I'm expecting to do horribly here lol!

You're just up in here making predictions that are incongruous with all the context clues that we know from previous rankdowns! Lol Like, how is "Silver Thunderbird" going to be a top 5 contender in this rankdown when it couldn't even escape the bottom 3 in a 10-song rankdown? It couldn't beat "No Time For Tears", "Even God Must Get The Blues", or "I Know A Heartache" in the album rankdown, but will be top 5 here while none of those other songs are top 5 contenders? Same thing with "Someone Else's Life". But you did also say you expect to do horribly here, so I don't mean to pass early judgment or anything

kicking things off we see "Cover Me" from Jo Dee's most successful album leave us first. No one ranked this song last but not a lot of people ranked it high either which sunk it to last place!
How will the remaining 4 songs from I'm Alright do? we will find out later on...

2nd song to leave is "I Didn't Have To leave You" from Jo Dee's debut album. This song did better than both "Walk To The Light" and "Another Shoulder At The Wheel" in the album rankdown but fell right to the bottom here despite having NO bottom 3 rankings, but being one of only 2 songs to have NO top 15 ranks did it no favors!
With this both of Jo Dee's first two albums have lost a song! Will one of them lose another next, or will one of her other albums see a song leave, or could one of the non-album songs go?

and with that Jo Dee's debut is down to 3 songs! "Walk To The Light" was the lowest of the 5 album tracks during that album rankdown and it got ahead of "I Didn't Have To Leave You" here! (Barely I should add)
