Given that they've decided to make a change to the formula by weighing sales slightly more than streaming in the second February-dated chart week of 2016 and 2017, I think they could be doing the same thing for this week's chart in addition to implementing the new streaming formula weighing paid streams over ad-supported streams that they announced back in October. We'll see.

They announced those formula changes within the Top 10 articles for those weeks, but they did make a separate article for the inclusion of Pandora streams that they did last year in that same week. I think an article announcing the new streaming formula implementation is certainly possible but if that doesn't happen, then they'll probably announce it within this week's Top 10 article. We'll see.

^I think they will post something regarding the formula change. They announced the addition of Pandora streams and Hot 100 change which affected the February 11, 2017 Hot 100 chart. So it would make sense that any new changes would come into effect for the February 10, 2018 chart, which is the one to be refreshed this week.

Oh come on another formula change midway through the year? Really screws up the year end hot 100 (see the Treat You Better nonsense 2017 YE) as well as just begging the question, why wasn't it implemented at the beginning of the year?

Also is End Game just gonna keep dropping? I knew it was gonna lose the video boost and fall from 18 but I really hope it doesn't just crash down off the charts now. At least Never Be The Same seems to have some sort of traction

I think it depends on what the formula is and how much it favors one over the other. If its something like 2 YouTube streams = 1 Spotify stream, I dont think the difference will be that drastic. If it's 10-1, yes it could be
